USA Placed 19th Among The Counties With Highest IQs

The United States may have the lion's shares of cash, but when it comes to brains, it does not even crack the top 10, according to one recent report. In a ranking of the countries with highest IQs conducted by statisticsbrain.com, the USA has been placed 19th with an average IQ of 98. tied Norway, Mangolia and France. The top spot goes to Hong Kong, while 10th place is shared by two European countries, Sweden and Switzerland, which many people think are one and the same. According to the study, here are 10 smartest countries of the world:- *-- 10: Sweden and Switzerland {two way tie} Average IQ: 101 *-- 06: Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Austria { four-way tie}, average IQ: 102. *-- 05: Sinngapore, average IQ: 103. *-- 04: Taiwan, average IQ: 104 *-- 03: Japan, average IQ: 105 *-- 02: South Korea, average IQ: 106 *-- 01: Hong Kong, average IQ: 107 It is not worth sharing the 'dumbest' countries in the world, because some consider IQ to be flawed as an objective measure of intelligence, and would therefore arguably be ill-suited to this application.
