Pregnant Indian Woman Records Her Suicide "Live" On Webcam








The Indian community in Bahrain is appalled after a five-month pregnant woman hailing from Tamil Nadu reportedly committed suicide in Manama, recording her last moments on a web camera and informing her husband that she is going to end her life. English and vernacular newspapers from the island nation have reported that Seetha Laxmi, 28, an Indianhailing from Salem, Tamil Nadu, was found hanging from her apartment in Guidaba area near Al Osra, Manama, the capital of Bahrain. According to reports, the young lady used to work as beautician, and recorded her suicide on a webcam on her laptop. The webcam was on the recording mode when she hanged herself from the ceiling fan. On that day she tried to call her husband, Vinod when she could not reach him on phone she called the beauty saloon in three-star hotel whee she used to work and informed her colleaugues that she was going to end her life. The saloon staff alerted her husband about the strange phone call he rushed to the apartment but when he reached she was hanging with the fan. The number of suicides is increassing in the Indian community in Bahrain and the suicide of this young ladt has created a panic among the community. She has recorded her message to her husband on the room wall, who loved her too much but she could not return his love. Bahrain's Indian community has been baffled by a spate of suicides and various community associations have been compaigning against the evil that affected many middle-class and working class expatriates.
