Parvez Musharraf Is Inilligible For Contesting Election For Life--- Pesh High Court








Peshawar high court gave verdict on Musharraf's appeal against election tribunal decision of rejecting his nomination papers from NA 32 Chitral; about his inilligibilty to contest election life long. The court in its decision said that he suspended constitution and kept some 60 judges under arrest. Therefore, he is banned to contest for any public office. Court al;so said that the present aricle of constitution is ambiguous, parliament must amend it, otherwise the treason case in future can be registered against all those who supported Parvez Musharraf ( or any dictator) including parliament, aministration and judiciary. After the court decision the doors of politics have been closed on Musharraf. He can not contest election for any senate, assemebly seats or local bosies election even. The council of Musharraf pleaded in the Lahore high court that his client fulfills the requirements of article 62 and 63 as he was never been sentenced in any case, He is accused but nothing has been proved yet. So he may be allowed to contest election from NA 139-Kasur. The court accepted the appeal for hearing on May 2 and sought reply from election commission.
