Turkey's PM Orders Blockage Of Twitter
Turkey has blocked social networking site Twitter on Friday, media reported. Twitter was blocked a few hours after prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned the nation that he would 'root-out' the social network because the fake recordings were leaked on the same social network. The recording was actually a phone call from Erdogan to his son and was discussing how to hide looted money. Although e claimed the recording was fake and a part defamatory compaign against him, but it badly hurt the Erdogan and his party just before the elections. On Thursday he threatened to take action against Twitter without thinking about," What the international community will say". And when people to log into Twitter in Turkey, they were met with a message from Turkey's telecommunication authority stating court's orders for closure of Twitter.
