Government Announced To Stop Aerial Attacks Against Taliban For A Month
Government has announced to stop aerial attacks against Taliban, conditionally, for a month, however, it said that if any installation or security official were attacked, air strikes can be resumed as reaction. In a statement issued by ISPR, that the gun ship helicopter shelling in Tehsil Bara of Jamrud Agency was done in retaliation to martyring 13 officials in Jamrud. Majority of the political parties have termed this step of Taliban a positive one. But it must be kept in mind that this ceasefire may be not be for reorganising their force and restoring their power to resume attacks against the state.
