Large Number Of Active Afghan SIMs Are In Use In Pakistan
The state authorities have revealed that about 40,000 to 50,000 Afghan SIMs have been in use in Pakistan. "There is no agreement regarding Afghan SIMs usage in Pakistan", National Accountability Bureau officials told Peshawar High Court (PHC). The chief justice of high court observed that these SIMs were being used for kidnapping and bomb explosions. The law enforcement agencies of the country report that spread of illegal SIMs is a big cause of lawlessness particularly in Khyber Pakhtoon Khaw province, which is suffering from explosions and terror related incidents.
