Top Bollywood Actresses Are Eager To Perform Item Songs

While you find it distasteful or not, the item songs are the real money- spinners in Bollywood. The stars have proven that it just takes one sleasy, dance track to change the fate of box-office flop movie. And now these raunchy dances also credited as deal-makers for the actresses. Bollywood beauties, who had once refused to be "downgraded" as item girls are unashamedly seeking item song to spike-up their market value. Katrina Kaif, one "outsider" has stepped into the top league. Part of credit for her stupendous success goes to her sizzling dance move in "Chikni Chameli" and "Sheila Ki Jawani". Even her part in the hugely popular "Race" focused mostly on her versatile body less on her acting talent. After her astonishing dancing accomplishment, she has now turned into dancing mascot, whose odd-dancing parts salvages movies from tanking at the box-office. There is "Aeya ray Aeya Bodyguard" in Salman's 'Bodyguard' and even the belly dance "Masalla" in their joint romance "Ek Tha Tigeer". In fact Katrina is fast turning into 'item mascot' for filmakers. Kareena Kapoor, who had once openly criticise item tag, it is surprising that how she is doing the same item routine that she hasd once shunned. Her sudden desire to turn into an item queen evidently echoes her insecurities and how she is unwilling to let younger actresses to race to the top. After her timid jig in 'Chinta Ta Chita Chita' in 'Rowdy Rathore' and terrible 'Halkat Jawani' in 'Heroine', she is hoping to mredeem the item title with a crackling number in 'Fevicol'. After the sensatonal 'Munni' track in 'Dabangg', critics are eagerly waiting to see if she will be able to recreate the magic for the sequel, and hopefully for her career.
