Muslim Bus Driver Saved Woman In Labour








A london Muslim bus driver has managed to save the life of a woman in labour, rushing her to the hospital afte she waited more than 75 minutes for ambulance closwe to midnight. "She came on and said "baby" and "hospital" , she was breathing quickly and heavily." Sajjad Sharif told London Evening Standard. The story began when Sharif,41, was driving along road in Leytonstone at 11 PM. Seeing Faye, a pregnant woman who looked in desperate need of help, he stoped and let her on. The woman,44, was forced to take her own way to hospital after waiting for ambulance for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Passengers got off the bus with only woman Bee Cole, stayed to offer help. It felt wrong to leave her, it was cold and it was not a very nice place to be about to have a baby, Cole, 27-year-old wona from Leytonstone, said. Sharif took her himself to ABE at Whipps Cross Hospital , after seeing no signs of ambulance late for 30 minutes. Reaching to hospital Faye gave birth to baby girls at 145 am. Britain is a home to sizable Muslim minority of 2.7 million, mostly of India, Pakistani and Bengali background.
