A Canadian citizen Pakistani Muslim female student Misbah Syed, who got admission in Pakistani educational institution for the desire to study in islamic country in the Islamic environment was humiliated by the teacher of Khyber Medical College, Peshawar (KPK) for wearing veil. She said was never insulted in Canada whereas,in her own country she was treated negatively for adopting Islamic norms. Similarly, in the Khyber Medical College bearded students and other veiled students are also laughed at. Professor Rahim Bangash who harassed Misbah was suspended by the governor after the protest by the students. Students have also demanded enquiry into the incident and to dismiss the teacher from the service.
