Indian Supreme Court Has Given Message To Involved In Cricket Business For Clean-Up Time By Appointing Sunil Incharge Of BCCI
Last week the Indian supreme court has handed over the charge of BCCI to legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, sending a clear message to all involved in business of cricket that the clean-up time ha arrived. Gavaskar is now interim president, while charges of corruption against former BCCI chief N Srinivasan are being investigated. S C appointed BCCI vice-president Shivlal Yadev in charge of the BCCI'd board affairs (except Indian premier League which Gavaskar will oversee). It was BCI under the directions of Srinivasan which suggested that Yadav may take over. What the BCCI failed to tell the SC that Andhra Pradesh Criminal Branch is probing allegations of Rs 100 billion against Yadev in construction of sport stadium.
