Red Warrant For Contractor In Haj Scam Has Been Issued By Interpole

Interpol has formally issued notices for the arrest of a contractor Ahmed Faiz of Saudi Arab appointed by former Federal Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi as supervisor.
Oral red warrant had already been issued for his arrest. A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials which shortly visited Saudi Arab, held important meetings and took in custody several documents and evidences regarding the hajj scam. The FIA sources told Geo News that Kazmi appointed Ahmed Faiz as building supervisor to acquire rented accommodations for hajj pilgrims with no knowledge to the then Federal Religious Affairs Secretary.
The federal minister got official passport issued for him (contractor) and now his passport has been cancelled.
It should be recalled here that Ahmed Faiz is wanted by Saudi police under various charges and is hiding in the country. Now, Interpol has issued red warrant for his arrest on FIA request.
The sources said the FIA team would return home in two to three days. A senior official said the team would submit its report to FIA’s Director General towards the end of this week.
