'The Sun' Will No Longer Feature Topless Woman On Page 3








The British tabloid 'The Sun' will no longer feature topless woman on its page three, ending a controversial tradition that lasted for decades. The Tines which like The Sun is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News UK reported that the Friday edition of the tabloid will be the last one to feature topless model. The four-decade feature has been criticised as sexiest by compaigners and Murdoch himself described it 'old fashioned' last year. The petition to stop The Sun, which is one of the Britain's most read newspapers, featuring topless models gathered more than 217,000 signatures. The NO More Page 3 compaign welcomed the change, calling it, "truly historic news and a great day for peoples power".
