French Burqa-Ban Upheld By Court
European Court of Human Rights on Tuesday upheld France's controversial Burqa-Ban, rejecting arguments that a 2010 law outlawing full-face veils breaches religious freedom. In a case brought by 24-year-old French Muslim woman with the support of a British legal team, the court ruled that France was justified in introducing the ban on veiling in the best interest of social cohesion. What could more be expected from the European courts that do not respect the religious customs of Muslim. More than 50 % cases of rape, kidnapping and other social evils among the youth is only due to showing the face body parts by women. Islam gives a strong protection to women against such crimes in the form of full-face veil (burqa).
