Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif made one more attempt to pacify Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar but to no avail. According to a private news channel report, PML-N leadership is trying to pacify disgruntled Nisar from Chakri and Punjab's PM visit was a part of its efforts in this regard. However, the traditional warmth was missing after the meeting between the two stalwarts of the ruling party. The half an hour long meeting took place in Punjab house where younger Sharif listened to reservations of interior minister, who has a serious objection on the style Nawaz Sharif is running the government through two persons including Parvaiz Rashid. Sources said Shahbaz Sharif assured Nisar of addressing his grievances but the ice did not seem to thaw. Though Sharif led Nisar to the porch, however, seriousness on their faces was visible hinting that the meeting did not succeed in burying the hatchet.
