BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally fixed August 11 as their wedding date and they are planning a double celebration. The couple will share the occasion with the actor’s parents Bill and Jane who will mark their golden wedding anniversary on the same day.
There will be a huge family party at the pair’s 35million-pound French retreat after they tie the knot. Between 200 and 300 guests including George Clooney, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise are expected to join the festivities at 35-room Chateau Miraval near the village of Correns in the south of France’s Aix-en-Provence wine country.
Jolie adores her Pitt’s parents and the source said, “She came up with the idea of making it a real family celebration by merging Bill and Jane’s special day with theirs. “Brad’s family mean a lot to Angelina, especially since she lost her own mum Marcheline to ovarian cancer more than five years ago and spent years refusing to talk to her father,” the source added.
The actress has reconciled with her actor dad Jon Voight although she has yet to decide whether he or her brother James Haven will give her away.

"Magic Cube"-- The Virtual Laser Key Board

The Korean experts have developed such an apparatus for "virtual laser keyboard" that is easy to use and is compatible to nearly all the computer operating systems. The apparatus called "Magic Cube" is 38 x 75 x 20 mm in size. Magic cube basically consists of 3 parts including key board projector laser beam, optical sensor and infra red layer. All the three technologies have been gathered in a smaller device te magic cube.
From the infra red ray getting out of the lower portion of the magic cube, that layer is formed on which the reflection of "Standard QWERTY Key Board" is obtained due to the laser ray or beam that comes out of upper portion of the cube. While, switching the magic cube on , due to optical fiber installed in the middle of cube the layer constituted by infra red when is touched by the user, the reflection of laser of key board flashes immediately. The complete reflection of laser key board obtained on any non transparent surface can easily be used on desk top computer, lap top, note book, iPhone, iPad, Smartphone, Palm top, tablet PC (PDA), and personal digital assistant , through blue tooth technology.
Invented by the Celluon company, the specific quality of laser key board is the it can be used in darkness too, because of infra red rays. When typing by the laser key board it does sound as by the common key board. Costing $170, virtual key board has the facility of virtual mouse also. The battery of cube using a smaller place is made up of lithium polymer.
According to experts magic cube can be connected to all the present and latest operating systems like Apple,IOS-4, Apple Mack 10.4, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Phone-7, Google-2, and Android.

New Conduct Guidelines Have Been Issued For US Secret Agents

Embarrassed over a Colombia scandal, the US Secret Service has released new conduct guidelines that forbid agents from visiting “non-reputable establishments” or bringing foreigners to their hotel rooms.
The “enhanced standards of conduct,” which are effective immediately, also forbid agents in the presidential protection force from consuming alcohol within 10 hours of reporting for duty, and require trips to be staffed by a supervisor from the agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility.
The rules were disseminated two weeks after more than two dozen Secret Service agents and military personnel were sent home from Cartagena, Colombia, where they had been preparing security for a visit by President Barack Obama.
They were accused of drinking heavily, visiting a strip club and consorting with prostitutes, including bringing workers to their hotel rooms.
Eight agents have since been dismissed, the security clearance of one other has been permanently revoked, and three others have been cleared of major misconduct, according to the agency.
Investigations into the actions by the agents and some 12 military personnel are ongoing.
The new guidelines lay out “off-limit zones and off-limit establishments for USSS personnel,” and require agents to attend standard-of-conduct briefings upon entry to a country, where the US ambassador may impose “country-specific rules,” Secret Service special agent Edwin Donovan said in a statement.
Agents will also be required to adhere to US law while abroad, and undergo ethics training in order to be eligible for foreign travel.
However Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, signaled that new rules were not enough.
He said, in a statement, that “a sheet of paper with new rules doesn’t negate the previous actions, and why it remains necessary to hold the agency and the agents accountable, following a complete and independent investigation.”
The Secret Service has been scrambling to contain a broadening scandal that originated in Colombia when an agent allegedly had a dispute over pay with an escort.
The agency acknowledged to US lawmakers on Thursday it was now investigating fresh allegations of misconduct last year in El Salvador, where agents are accused of paying in the VIP section of a strip club and taking escorts to their hotel rooms ahead of an Obama visit.
“If these allegations are true, the behavior is absolutely unacceptable,” said congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee late Thursday after a briefing by Secret Service director Mark Sullivan.
She said that in addition to the new restrictions on behavior, Sullivan had begun putting together a “working group that’s going to deal with this issue of culture” within the agency.

To Maintain The Bath Tub Water Warm By "Stones"

When you are taking bath in the tub with warm water and you get in trouble when the water starts cooling. It is must then to mix hot water and have to waste some surplus water. However, the experts belonging to Korea have invented an apparatus resembling rounded waxy stones found in lakes and revers that has heating sensors and maintains the bathtub water warm to the adjusted temperature. Medical experts have termed this apparatus called "Warm On" beneficial for health as hydrotherapy due to maintaining water temperature at uniform level. Working with ordinary battery, experts have installed such transmitters in the artificial stones that when sink in water save the temperature of water in its memory. As soon as the temperature of water starts falling down, the sensor in the apparatus activates the heating system. The water present in the apparatus mixes with the cool water in the form of bubbles and does not let the temperature of tub water fall down.
The inventors of this unique apparatus are 3 Korean designers namely Se Mei Hang, Heun Gee Lee and Heun Se Oak. They say that they developed this apparatus keeping in view the melting Magma due to volcanic activities under water in the ocean. It is noteworthy that the flowing pieces of Magma in sea ooze out bubbles of hot water due to which the water around Magma remain hot.

Fast Food Giant KFC Will Have To Pay $ 8.3 To An Australian Girl

Fast food giant Kentucky Fried Chicken has been ordered to pay Aus$8 million (US$8.3 million) to an Australian girl who suffered severe brain damage and was paralysed after eating a Twister wrap.
Monika Samaan was seven when she suffered salmonella encephalopathy -- a brain injury linked to food poisoning that also left her with a blood infection and septic shock in October 2005.
Several other family members also fell ill and they claimed Samaan's injuries, which include severe cognitive, motor and speech impairment and spastic quadriplegia, were caused by a chicken Twister wrap from a Sydney KFC outlet.
The New South Wales Supreme Court ruled in the family's favour a week ago and on Friday ordered KFC to pay the girl Aus$8 million in damages plus legal costs.
In a statement, the family's lawyer George Vlahakis said they were relieved the battle was over.
"Monika's severe brain damage and severe disability has already exhausted the very limited resources of the family," he said.
"Monika is now a big girl and they are finding it increasingly difficult to lift her and to look after her basic needs as well as look after Monika's younger siblings.
"The compensation ordered is very much needed. KFC have to date been determined that Monika does not receive a cent."
Last week KFC indicated it will appeal the decision but is yet to do so.
During the trial, Justice Stephen Rothman said the chicken became contaminated "because of the failure of one or more employees of KFC" to follow proper preparation rules, which he described as "negligent".

Mexican Woman Claimed To Be Pregnant With Nine Babies

According to health authorities reports that a woman in northern Mexico is pregnant with nine babies are a hoax.
Mexico's main broadcaster Televisa and top daily newspapers ran stories about a woman expecting nonuplets late on Thursday after she provided welfare officials with supposed evidence of the multiple pregnancy, including an ultrasound video, said a spokesman for the health ministry of Coahuila state.
Following the news, local health authorities offered assistance to the woman, who was identified as 32-year-old Karla Perez from Villa Arteaga, east of the state capital Saltillo.
Reports said Perez had conceived the babies after receiving fertility treatment, but tests carried out by doctors on Friday revealed she was not even pregnant. It was not clear why the mother of three had made the claims, the spokesman added.

The ceremony will be held in London on May 28 in which the award will be presented by Rt. Hon. Lord Phillips, President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom in the presence of chief justices, law ministers, members of parliament, bar leaders, law teachers and journalists from different countries who have been invited for the prestigious occasion.
The award is a regular feature of the International Council of Jurists and some of the earlier recipients include Mrs. Justice Rosalyn Higgins, President of the International Court of Justice; The Rt. Lord Phillips, Chief Justice of United Kingdom, Ms. Justice Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada; Justice Awn S. Al-Khasawneh, Vice President of International Court of Justice, etc.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan had put up a great resistance against the former military dictator and also became the inspiring icon for the historical movement of restoration of judiciary and in the year 2007, he was also awarded 'The Medal of Freedom', by the Harvard Law School Association.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that provision of expeditious and inexpensive justice to all segments of the society is the first and foremost priority of the judiciary as provided in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He was addressing a two-day meeting of the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee held on 27-28th April 2012 in the Committee Room of the Sindh High Court Karachi.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan who is also Chairman National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC) presided over the meeting.
In his introductory remarks in the meeting, the Chief Justice stated that undoubtedly, the Judges are making extra efforts to meet this constitutional requirement and after implementation of the National Judicial Policy visible improvements have been noticed in the disposal of cases.
Besides Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, the meeting was attended by Justice Agha Rafiq Ahmed Khan, Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Chief Justice High Court of Balochistan, Justice Mushir Alam, Chief Justice High Court of Sindh, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Chief Justice Lahore High Court and Justice Dost Muhammad Khan, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court.

Earlier the performance of the District Judiciary was reviewed in the NJPMC meeting. The statistics presented by the District & Sessions Judges showed that the District Judiciary of all the four provinces performed very well and more than 90% old cases have been decided after enforcement of Policy.
The District Judiciary Balochistan in particular did very well. It is currently poised to decide any civil or criminal case within a period of four to six months from the date of filing of a suit or complaint, which is a remarkable achievement.
In the same way, the District Judiciary of other provinces and Islamabad has also decided a large number of cases and there are number of Sessions Divisions where no old case is pending adjudication. The committee was informed that at the time of launching National Judicial Policy the judge case ratio was 1:1860 and now after implementation of Policy and strict monitoring the judge case ratio has been decreased considerably.
In Balochistan the judge case ratio is 1:32 and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1:293, in Sindh 1:309 which is reasonable. In Punjab 1:1020 and Islamabad Capital Territory is 1:1392, though this figure is higher as compare to other provinces; however, considerably less than the pendency when the Policy was launched i.e. 1:1860.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan and members of the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee highly appreciated the hard work performed by the District Judiciary and praised the District and Sessions Judges of Peshawar, Karachi West, and Islamabad for showing good results.
The committee decided that the number of the judges of the district judiciary be immediately increased in order to allay the concerns of an ordinary litigant and to meet the challenges of growing population and economy. It is further decided that federal and provincial governments shall make financial allocations for the increase in the strength of judges including allied staff and related infrastructure in the forthcoming budget.
The committee observed that another factor for delayed disposal of cases is the scattered courts of special federal and provincial Tribunals/Courts. Therefore it is decided that such courts/tribunals be conveniently located in single judicial complex in every city. This will provide justice under one-roof for the convenience of the litigant, as well as, the bar and will go a long way in reducing unnecessary delays caused due to lawyers attending to various courts located at different places in a city.
The committee observed that cases related to public revenues are not properly pursued which occasioned in losses of public money. It was decided that efforts should be made by courts to decide such cases within a period of six months in order to meet the constitutional requirements. The Chief Justice of Pakistan directed that in next fifteen days all High Courts and District Courts should identify all public revenue cases and fix them for urgent hearing.
The committee also considered the jail inspection reports furnished by the District & Sessions Judges and asked the concerned authorities to improve the living condition in jails and address all the problems highlighted by the District & Sessions Judges during their fortnightly visits.

Morocoo Is Successfully On The Way To Democracy From Dictatorship

Morocco is not like before. It is changing. Since the Islamic Movement Justice and Development party came into power, some basic changes are being brought out in the country. Firstly, due to the efforts of prime minister Abdullah Bin Keran, the feudalism that had hallowed the roots of the country is being weakened. Secondly, developmental projects are swiftly underway. Net work of roads is being laid. Double-decker trains are being introduced that will provide latest and better communication facilities to the masses. Thirdly, the the largest sea port in the Mediterranean is being expanded and its importance is known to every citizen.
In the African continent the 5th biggest economy is that of Morocco after South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria and Algiers. If North Africa is kept in view then second biggest economy belongs to Morocco after Tunisia. In the past the country has been the ally of the United States on one side while on other it has been the center of European tourists too.
Though Morocco had not been suffering from chronic problem of poverty as were prevailing in Egypt and Tunisia but the the revolutionary movements started in the Arab World also affected Morocco.
The king V of Morocco himself decided to implement political reforms and he handed over more powers than before to prime minster and the parliament also gave legislative powers to parliament, however, the king kept defense, security and religious portfolios with himself. In the country that remained under the longest kingdom in the Arab World, Justice Party won the majority in the elections held in November last year. Justice party defeated the Moroccan king backed alliance by winning 107 out of 395 seats in the parliament.
Taking over the power, the Justice Party started taking all those measures that could change the political scenario of the country. The major change it had to bring was to end the luxuriant life style of the ruling class. To get rid of the heavy burden on the national economy it was necessary to adopt measures of austerity. Prime minister himself is demonstrating an example of simple life style. He is not allowing his administration to get benefit from national exchequer illegally. Prime minister refused to live in PM Palace but preferred to live in his own house. He is the first PM of the world who has only two official deployed on his security. He is not in favor of holding cabinet meetings in his office but he goes to any restaurant and performs his official business from that place, plans and prepares strategies to run the government work. Abdullah Bin Keran neither himself uses government vehicle nor allows any minister to use it. All the ministers travel in trains with common people. ( This is the Islamic way of running government, A lesson for Pakistani ministers and VIP's.).

Carved Valleys On Mars Have Lava Flowing

Lava flows carved valleys on Mars, US scientists said Thursday amid a long-running debate over whether water or volcanoes formed part of the red planet’s landscape. The lava left behind telltale coils as seen on some parts of Earth, like on the Big Island of Hawaii and in submarine lava flows near the Galapagos Rift on the floor of the Pacific Ocean, said the findings in the journal Science. Lead author Andrew Ryan of Arizona State University focused on the Athabasca Valles nears Mars’ equator, and performed his analysis using more than 100 high resolution images beamed back by the NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
Ryan said the large spiral coils there, in the Elysium volcanic province of Mars, range from five to 30 meters (16 to 100 feet) wide and could not have been formed by ice- or water-related processes.
“That’s bigger than any known lava coils on Earth,” said Ryan, who was surprised by their size but not by the fact that the coils had been missed by scientists studying Mars’ landscape in the past.
“The coils become noticeable in the full-resolution HiRISE (High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) image only when you really zoom in,” he said.
“They also tend to blend in with the rest of the light-gray terrain - that is, until you stretch the contrast a bit,” he added.
“I don’t find it surprising that these were overlooked in the past. I nearly missed them too.”
The coils, which resemble the circular lines on a snail’s shell, likely formed when streams of lava flowed past each other at different speeds or in different directions.
So far Ryan, a graduate student in ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration, and his co-author Philip Christensen, a professor of geological sciences at ASU, have counted nearly 200 lava coils in the Cerberus Palus region, and they believe there are more.
“Lava coils may be present in other Martian volcanic provinces or in outflow channels mantled by volcanic features. I expect that we’ll find quite a few more in Elysium as the HiRISE image coverage grows over time,” Ryan said.
The US space agency launched the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter in 2005 to circle the red planet and take pictures that would allow scientists to search for evidence of water on the surface and study how long it may have persisted.
The orbiter’s camera has been able to increase by a factor of 10 the number of close-up spots surveyed and can now identify objects as small as a dinner table, NASA said.

US Claims Not To But Interferes In Pakistan's Internal Affairs

Whether PM Gilani has been convicted for 30 seconds or 30 years, the USA has nothing to do with the verdict of the supreme court. Who is the USA to decide Gilani is still the PM of Pakistan? Supreme court has dispatched the decision regarding contempt of court case to the speaker national assembly and election commission. Now speaker has to write letter to election commission for the disqualification of PM Gilani as member of national assembly. But, definitely she would not write like Gilani did not write to Swiss authorities. She will face the contempt of court case like Gilani and will pass 3-4 months till election time is reached. Good and fine People's Party will pass 5th budget and 5 years in the government and will set a record of 5 years that will bring fruit as a slogan of election campaign. Nawaz Sharif is just delivering hallow threats and waiting for the new election after 5 months or so.
People's party will announce thousands of jobs and will increase the salaries of government servants that will impossible for the next government to pay. This will go in favor of people's party. The next government will be in hot water either to curtail the employment opportunities or pay the salaries on the price of other developmental works or request the World bank extending bowl to beg for gratis. Hurrah! PPP nice and wonderful planning.

Burning Of Fuel Is Affecting The Environment Adversely

Like many other modern inventions and technologies, oil has also disadvantages along with merits. When the rig is dug, vegetation is to be removed all around the oil well and the land is damaged that would be used for agricultural purposes or to grow plants. If sometimes oil is leaked from tanker or from any other source on the ground or in the sea, it damages the ocean life, animals as well as those of birds. It is due to dangerous matters like benzene that is poisonous. Benzene lowers the level white cells in the human body as well as blood. Therefore, affected person loses immunity to many diseases. Experts say that a person spending 5-15 years in the environment of smoke, he can easily be an east target of diseases.
Emission of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxide, hydro carbons and lead occur when petrol is burnt. The excess of all these gases and matters id dangerous for human lives. Carbon monoxide if respired stops oxygen movement to brain. Similarly, sulfur oxide and hydro carbons cause respiratory and lung diseases. The babies also contract defects of some body parts by birth due to these gases. Some experts link these gases to cancer. Lead causes damage to heart, brain and nerves. It is burning of petrol that emits green houses gases and carbon dioxide. During the last 150 years, the quantity of this gas in has been increased in atmosphere up to 40 % due to the use of petrol, coal, natural gases and woods. Oceans and plants used to maintain the balance after absorbing this gas. Now the natural balance has been interrupted due to the excessive use of the fuel.
Therefore, due to presence of carbon oxide in the atmosphere climatic and weather changes are occurring globally. For example in Pakistan the months of November and December used to be colder in winter but, now a days, winter pronlongs up to January and February. Similarly, spring started in March, but now even April month is too cold. Due to the climatic changes floods occur somewhere and famine encircles other corner of the globe. Petrol also creates nitrogen oxide and this when gets mix and react with other compounds present in the air give rise to foggy weather.

Huge Money (Nearly $ 200,000) Is Needed To Marry In South Korea

The Beatles may have sung "all you need is love," but in South Korea a couple wanting to get married also needs cash, a lot of it nearly $200,000, or more than four times the average annual income.
The sky-high costs stem from a combination of cultural traditions that mandate expensive pre-wedding gifts between families, such as mink coats and diamond rings, along with a decades-old custom that the groom must fork over money to provide a home.
The average cost for a wedding in 2011 rose about 270 percent from 1999, while the inflation during the same period rose 45.5 percent. Total costs far outstripped the average annual household income at around 48.3 million Korean won ($42,400), according to government data.
Thus, young couples seeking to unite in wedded bliss are forced to borrow from parents or take out loans. With candid discussions of money a cultural taboo in Korea, many are reluctant to speak about the high cost of exchanging vows.
"Korean society is very tightly knit, and people here are very concerned about how others view them," said Harris H. Kim, a sociology assistant professor at Ewha Womans University.
"The wedding works as a status symbol, like a marker of where you stand in the society," he added.
One 27-year-old woman working in the financial industry, who like many others asked to remain anonymous, said her parents paid nearly 90 percent of her 140 million won ($122,900) wedding costs.
"We had to use our parents' money, which probably came from the sacrifice of their own retirement savings," she said.
A 30-year old kindergarten teacher who would only give her surname, Kim, said her husband, whose income is 40 million won, took out a loan for 45 million won in addition to financial aid from their parents for a wedding with 600 guests. The couple didn't know half the people, who were their parents' friends.
Gift-giving also takes a hefty chunk of the cash. Traditionally, the bride and groom's families have exchanged gifts good silk for new clothes and simple jewelry - as a way of thanking the other family. But these days the silk has turned into fur or luxury handbags, while the jewelry has morphed into a full set of gems.
But the biggest part of the wedding budget comes from soaring housing prices, according to data from couple.net, a matchmaking company. The money spent by happy couples for housing last year was 2.5 times higher than in 2000, making up nearly 70 percent of the total cost of a wedding.
"I've had many customers in the last five years who directly asked for a spouse who can at least afford to rent a house," said Sungmi Lee, a manager at couple.net.
Although most couples choose to spend the money, many are less than happy about it.
"None of that expensive jewelry is actually useful or beautiful, and you know you'll just regret using the money for that after you're actually married and need money for your married life," said Kisun Lee, a 29-year-old consultant. ($1 = 1138.6000 Korean won).

Urinary Condition Is Not Worsened By Caffeine

Women with urinary incontinence who also enjoy their regular cup of coffee or tea don't have to worry about the extra caffeine making their condition worse, suggests a new study.
The new research stands in contrast to the common recommendation that women with leaky bladders stay away from caffeinated foods and beverages.
"If a woman feels she wants to abstain from caffeine that's completely fine, but based on our results, women with moderate incontinence shouldn't be concerned," said Mary Townsend, the study's lead author from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Still, the findings cannot say whether caffeine might have a shorter-term impact by making women need to urinate soon after eating or drinking something caffeinated.
According to Townsend, there are some biological reasons for women with incontinence to stay away from caffeine such as that it increases the production of urine and may give some the urge to go.
But it's been unclear whether a daily caffeine habit is tied to worsening incontinence over the long run.
To try to answer that question, the researchers looked at data on about 21,500 women enrolled in two large studies, each of which tracked the long-term health of U.S. nurses through surveys starting in the 1970s or 1980s.
Townsend and her colleagues selected women with moderate incontinence defined as leaking urine one to three times per month from participants who were asked about incontinence and caffeine consumption in 2002 or 2003.
The women were questioned about how much caffeine they ate or drank in the form of coffee, tea, soda or chocolate over the previous few years.
Two years later, when they were again surveyed about incontinence, about 20 percent of women said their symptoms had gotten worse and they now leaked urine at least once per week. That was consistent regardless of how much caffeine they'd reported eating and drinking.
The researchers also didn't find a link between women who increased their caffeine consumption between the survey years and worsening urinary symptoms either for general incontinence or for overactive bladder in particular. Women can also suffer from stress and overflow incontinence, said Dr. Larissa Rodriguez, co-director of the division of female urology, reconstructive surgery and urodynamics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, in an email.
Leaks related to stress incontinence can be brought on by any activity that puts stress on the bladder, like sneezing or laughing. Overflow incontinence occurs when the bladder does not empty properly, and urge incontinence or overactive bladder is the sudden need to go the bathroom.
As for treatments, behavioral changes, weight loss and certain exercises may help, said Rodriguez, who wasn't involved in the new study.
"There are not many effective medications but minimally invasive surgeries can be curative," she added.
According to the National Institutes of Health, which funded the study, the majority of women can get relief without surgery.
Townsend said most women in the study did not even tell their doctors about their incontinence.
She also said the new findings, published in Obstetrics & Gynecology, need to be confirmed with more research because there's a possibility that caffeine could make urinary symptoms worse over longer than a few years.
The study was also limited because incontinence symptoms were reported by the women themselves and not measured by a doctor, and the researchers didn't take treatment for incontinence into consideration.

The Past, Present And Future Of Oil In The World

The petrol and diesel we use in the vehicles and kerosene oil that burns a stove, are actually made up of the dead bodies of plants and animals. Four hundred million years before, these plants and animals were present in the oceans, when they died their dead bodies settled under the bottom of water. Slowly and gradually their remains were buried under the layers of millions tonnes of sand and soil. When due to geographical changes oceans changed their locations or vanished from that specific site, the extreme pressure of the soil and internal temperature changed the organic matter into oil and gas.
Sumeris and Babylonians residing in the valley of Dajla and Furat were the first men on earth who discovered oil after digging the under ground pitches. However, they could not make use of the oil but, rich persons used oil for burning.
The modern use of oil started during the 19th century in Mid Europe. At that time oil rigs(wells) were excavated in Azerbaijan and refineries were built in Poland and Romania. Today experts have screened out each and every corner of the earth and nearly all underground reserves have been discovered.
According to the experts there was 1000 billion barrel oil present under the ground, out of which half has been used. The remaining half is present in the lower most most layers of the ground and on complicated sites. The excavation process of these reserves oil is too costly and difficult. At present we are using 80.80 million barrels daily that demand of oil is expected to rise up to 100 million barrels per day.
Today European Union, USA, China, Japan and India are the largest consumers of fuel. All these countries during the current year will purchase oil worth $ 500, 426, 119.25 and 118 billion, respectively. While all the countries will spend $ 2000 billion in this respect. Pakistan is importing petroleun products of $10 billion, annually.
It is noteworthy that one barrel crude oil is equal to 42 American gallons or 159 liters. Crude oil is a liquid of unpleasant smell having deep color. One barrel crude oil has 87 % Carbon, 13 % hydrogen, 2 % Nitrogen, 1.5 % Oxygen and remaining are Sulfur, inert material and gases.
Refineries clean the crude oil and different petroleum products are obtained. One barel of crude oil gives 19 gallons petrol, 10 gallons diesel, 4 gallons jet fuel, 20 % LPG and 7 gallons other by products like kerosene and mobile oil.
At present the largest oil reserves in Saudi Arabia (126 billion barrels), Venezuela ( 21 billion), Canada ( 17.5 billion), Iran ( 13.7 billion), Iraq (11.5), Kuwait(10.4 billion), UAE ( 970 million), Russia ( 600 million) and and libya has 470 million barrel oil reserves.

Mian Sahib ! There Is No Tradition Of Resignation In Pakistan On Accusation Or Conviction

Mian Nawaz Sharif is wasting his time and energy to urge PM Gilani to step down. Did any Pakistani leader resigned after conviction before? If you were on his place Mian Sahib, you would have not resigned too. The fake degree holders, the corrupt people who have been accused several times, do they have courage to resign? No, those are leaders of livinmg nations who step down and quit government office if accused or blamed by a common man. What was done with the supreme court under the Muslim league government. Are not all the politicians of Pakistan chips of the same bundle?
PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said the Office of Prime Minister of Pakistan is vacant after the judgement of Supreme Court convicting Yousuf Raza Gilani of contempt of court, a private News reported.
Briefing the media after a consultative meeting to discuss the post-SC verdict situation, Nawaz said party's Central Working Committee would elaborate more on the matter in a meeting to be held Monday in Islamabad.
PML-N was of the view that Yousuf Raza Gilani is no more a member of National Assembly let alone being the Prime Minister, he said.
All the actions carried out by the PM and his ministers have no legal authority, PML-N chief said.
Threatening to launch an all out campaign against the PM, Nawaz announced to protest at all levels if he continues to hold the office. He said all options are open including Long March and protest in and outside the parliament.
Nawaz said people like Gilani must be punished adding that the SC has declared him ineligible for five years.
Blaming President Zardari for all the ills facing the country, Nawaz said the whole nation has been forced to suffer on $60 million looted money deposited in Swiss accounts.
“If we allow and accept the convicted PM and ineligible cabinet to continue, we have no right to be in politics," He added. "In my opinion if you have the courage to hear , no politician at present has the right to lead the Islamic republic of Pakistan."

Kidney Donation Caused Deborah Dismissal From Job

A New York woman who donated a kidney to her ailing boss would move up the transplant waiting list says she was fired shortly after the operation, according to a complaint she filed with the New York State Division of Human Rights.
Deborah Stevens said her former employer, Atlantic Automotive Group, discriminated against her over disabilities brought about by complications from the surgery, and she plans to sue the company for lost earnings and damages.
The company, which runs car dealerships on Long Island, said Stevens's complaint is groundless.
"My gal is just a good-natured woman who's trying to save a life and as soon as she did it, everything changed," said Stevens' attorney Lenard Leeds.
"When she wanted to take time off, she was scolded, she was yelled at," he said. "Instead of being sympathetic, they were very hostile towards her."
Stevens, of Hicksville, New York, said she learned that Jacqueline Brucia, who worked at Atlantic Automotive, was in need of a kidney in November 2010. Stevens had worked there as well but at the time had temporarily moved to Florida.
Stevens said she told Brucia she would donate a kidney.
"Brucia declined, but told her, ‘You never know, I may have to take you up on that offer one day,'" the complaint said.
Stevens learned the company would rehire her following her return to New York and not long afterward, Brucia told her a potential donor had not been approved by the hospital and asked if she was still willing to donate.
Stevens now believes Brucia was "grooming (Stevens) to be her ‘back-up plan,'" the complaint said.
Stevens's kidney was not a good match for Brucia, but she agreed to donate it to a stranger in St. Louis, Missouri, setting up a transplant chain that enabled Brucia to receive a better-matched kidney from a donor in San Francisco.
Surgeons removed Stevens's left kidney in August, and she returned to work about a month later. The surgery left her with damaged nerves in her leg, digestive problems and mental health issues, her lawyer said.
At work, Brucia became "curt and dismissive," the complaint said. Stevens said she was berated for taking sick days and forced to relocate to a less desirable office after she complained to human resources about Brucia's behavior.
On April 11, the company fired her, citing performance reasons.
Stevens's lawyer said the complaint filed with the Division of Human Rights last week was a necessary step before a federal lawsuit is filed against Brucia and the company.
Telephone calls to Brucia's home were not answered on Tuesday.
Atlantic Automotive released a statement saying: "It is unfortunate that one employee has used her own generous act to make up a groundless claim.
"Atlantic Auto treated her appropriately and acted honorably and fairly, at every turn," it said.

Exhaustion Of Oil's Natural Reserves May End The Era Of Modern Age

The oil (fuel) that makes the wheel of industry and agriculture run on the globe is not a renewable or ever lasting fuel and its underground quantity has been fixed by nature. Majority of the experts of the view that remaining oils in the wells may be consumed during the next 30-40 years. At present 380.8 million barrels monthly, while 4 billion and 650 million barrels oil is consumed annually in the world. If the rate of consumption remained the same and reserves are not increased the oil will be no more available under the ground.
Whenever, "oil age" came to an end human beings will have some positive and negative changes in their lives. The first negative change will be the scarcity or unavailability of foods. Because the modern agriculture depends upon fuel (oil). During 1804 the world population was 2 billion, due to better health facilities population in 1927 reached to 2 billion.
After 1927, tractors, mechanical equipments, insecticides and chemical fertilizers have been used in the agricultural fields to boost up the crop yields and expand the area to bring under agricultural commodities. All the agricultural equipments and chemical are either manufactured or run by fuel. When the agricultural yields increased per unit area the population also increased. The world population from 1927 to 2011 rose to 7 billion. But in future, due to unavailability of fuel, the costs of chemicals and and other agricultural related equipments as well as scarcity of water will result in low yields of crops that will cause the price hike in food items. Thus, it will necessitate for each family, as in the past, to grow itself and eat. During the last one and a half century the continuous use of artificial chemicals fertilizers and sowing of the crops have squeezed the lands. Due to higher prices of agricultural inputs, the plantings of crops, vegetables and fruit plants will return to natural process. However, to feed the bellies of billions of people it will be necessary for millions of people to work in the fields. Then the the transfer of the population from rural to urban areas will be reversed.

Russian Secret Weather Weapon Can Destroy Any Part Of The Planet

A top Duma political leader caused shock waves in a recent television interview when he warned that Russia could deploy an arsenal of new technology to destroy any part of the planet and kill over a hundred million people using secret weather weapons if the United States, the UN or Georgia tried to stop Russias entry into the WTO.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky is Vice-Chairman of the Russian State Duma and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), the first officially sanctioned opposition party after the fall of communism. The LDPR has deep links with the former KGB and Communist Party and has become a significant force in Russian politics, despite Zhirinovsky himself being branded as a militant neo-fascist.
According to a translation provided by a Russian speaker, during the interview Zhirinovsky went off on a bizarre tangent after he was asked how Russia should treat countries like Georgia and the United States who try and block Russias entry into the World Trade Organization.
Saying that the American government in Washington DC had no future and would collapse, Zhirinovsky cited Russias supremacy in space and stated that the country had, Lots of money, resources, and new weapons that no one knows about.
With them we will destroy any part of the planet within 15 minutes, he sensationally warned.
Not an explosion, not a ray burst, not some kind of laser, not lightning, but a quiet and peaceful weapon, added Zhirinovsky, warning that whole continents will be put to sleep forever and that 120 million will die if anyone interfered with Russias claim on the Kuril Islands, which are the subject of a territorial dispute with Japan.
The female presenter of the news program smirked as he made the comments, but Zhirinovskys manner was far from jovial.
Zhirinovsky made reference to the recent tsunami in Japan, suggesting that the new weapons to which he refers are related to weather control technology, which has been intensely studied by both the U.S. and Russia since the 1950′s and is commonly used today.
Threatening to annex Georgia completely, Zhirinovsky warned, And then there will be another tsunami, on the other side of the planet, in the Caucasus. Zhirinovskys reference to the Kuril Islands in connection with the devastating tsunami that hit Japan in March is a not so subtle suggestion that Russia had something to do with causing the natural disaster that killed thousands, led to the Fukushima crisis and threatened to derail Japans economic recovery.
Zhirinovsky also warned of a coming third world war emerging from the current turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa that would lead to the collapse of current global institutions like the EU and the WTO and the rise of a new international order led by Russia.
Moscow has routinely employed the weather control technology of cloud seeding for decades to ensure sunny skies when military parades are taking place on national holidays, but turning the weather into a devastating weapon to be used in warfare is a frightening new prospect.
However, as the revelations of weather modification expert Ben Livingston, a former Navy Physicist who briefed President Lyndon B. Johnson on the effectiveness of weather control back in the 1960′s during the Vietnam era, have documented, as far back as the early 1950′s the United States was funneling money into programs aimed at using the weather as a weapon during the cold war. It would be naive to think that the Russians werent engaged in similar research.
Moreover, in an April 1997 speech to the University of Georgia, Athens, then US Secretary of Defense William Cohen spoke of the threat of an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.
For many years, suspicions have circulated around the purpose of the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and DARPA. In his underground bestseller Angels Dont Play This HAARP, author Nick Begich summarizes the evidence that suggests HAARP is involved in weather control for nefarious purposes.
Scientists at NASA have discovered A close link between electrical disturbances on the edge of our atmosphere and impending quakes on the ground below, which has led to claims that earthquakes are being artificially induced as a form of modern warfare by HAARP.
The technology to which Zhirinovsky refers is rapidly moving out of the realms of science fiction and into scientific fact as we progress further into the 21st century.
While Zhirinovsky is a controversial character in Russia with an incendiary personality, he is nonetheless a major political player. Although Zhirinovsky has been dismissed as a clown and has made many offbeat comments in the past, it would be naive to dismiss him as being on the fringe.
As well as being Vice-Chairman of the Russian State Duma and leader of the LDPR, Zhirinovsky is a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The deputy Duma speaker has announced his intention to run in the 2012 Russian presidential elections, where he is expected to finish third in the race.
Zhirinovskys comments have been no less controversial in the past. He once advocated dropping nuclear bombs over the Atlantic Ocean to flood Great Britain.
What are we to make of these remarkable comments? Is Zhirinovsky just a crank, or has he truly spilled the beans on Russias intention to unleash an arsenal of new weather warfare technology in its bid to dominate the globe?

With The Collapse Of Dutch Government Ban On Burqa And Niqab Is Less Likely To Go Ahead

With the collapse of the Dutch centre-right government, the Netherlands may now drop some of its most eye-popping proposals aimed at Muslims and other immigrants and could soften its strong anti-immigration rhetoric.
A ban on Muslim face veils, such as the Arabic-style niqabs that leave the eyes uncovered and Afghan-style burqas that cover the face with a cloth grid, is less likely to go ahead after the government collapsed at the weekend.
The minority Liberal-Christian Democrat coalition's alliance with Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) fell apart when they could not reach agreement on crucial budget cuts. An election has been called for September 12.
In return for Wilders' support in parliament, the government had proposed a number of laws, including bans on Muslim face veils and on dual nationality.
If it appears clear that there is no longer a parliamentary majority in favor of such proposals, they could soon be taken "off the table", said Maurits Berger, professor of Islam in the contemporary West at Leiden University.
"These policies were driven by PVV but also by this government in order to maintain their relationship with PVV. They have turned Holland into a pariah," Berger said.
"These are the legacy of the PVV. Face veils, dual nationality - both these proposals have not really been thought through."
The Christian Democrats will no longer support a proposal to ban dual nationality, a source within the party told Reuters. The party also feels uneasy about the face veil ban, Dutch daily De Volkskrant said.
Many opposition parties, including Labor, Democrats 66 and GreenLeft, had already opposed the proposed face veil and dual nationality bans, leaving the proposals without majority support in parliament if the Christian Democrats don't back them.
Now that the government has fallen, Dutch Immigration Minister Gerd Leers will no longer push for issues such as the need to make it harder for immigrants to bring in other family members, his spokesman said.
Over the past decade there has been a pronounced shift in the Netherlands towards tougher immigration policies, pushed by politicians like Pim Fortuyn and, more recently, by Wilders.
Wilders' tough stance on immigrants, particularly Muslims and more recently those from European Union member countries including Poland, have backfired on the Netherlands.
Leers tried to mend ties with Poland last month after Wilders, who requires 24-hour protection because he has received death threats, launched a website targeting workers from eastern and central Europe.
His website drew criticism from the European Commission and Parliament as well as from countries including Poland, Bulgaria and Romania but Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte declined to speak out publicly against it.

Avalanche Buries 135 Pakistani Soldiers And Civilians At Siachin

Pakistani and Indian military are facing each other on the highest battlefield of the world since 1984. It was no man's land prior to this. Peaks of Siachin were not war zone, only soldiers of both side used to sit on the peaks surveillance. It happened so that Pakistani soldiers were climbing the peak to the post for routine petrolling that Indian soldiers fired on them. Since then the most costly war front of the world is continued. Millions of rupees are spent daily to keep the soldiers alive. It has been known after probe that India under a planned program kept its soldiers more than 21 days on the peak as as agreed between both the countries and attacked Pakistani soldiers going for duty toward post.
Gyari sector is a base camp on Siachin and the ice of the glacier there is not the common ice but it is stronger than steel. It needs a boiling point temperature for melting.
Glaciers are there for centuries on the Siachin peaks. A few persons can live in the check posts as the peaks are pointing and very little space is found to sit even.Yousuf check post on the glacier is the most dangerous post, only 4-5 soldiers can live in an "Iglo" ( the cell made up of ice). Gyary sector is at a height of 13500 feet, while Yousuf check post is at a height of 21000 feet.
Oxygen is not available on that much height, if one stays more than 21 days at height like this, brain and lungs are filled with water, one does not feel like eating and for excretion one has to hang with the rope. Fire can not be lit there and special type of lanterns are used for kerosene oil to have light. Tins food can be used and special kind of shoes and jackets are worn.
Army team and foreign rescue teams are busy round the clock to rescue and search for the buries persons under the avalanche. Ground penetrating radar team is also busy in identifying the sites for excavation. We Pakistanis pray for the safety of our brave soldiers. We pay rich attributes to our courageous army me. May Allah keep them safe and miracle may occur that all be found safe and alive. Ameen
