Facebook Has Surpassed Another Milestone With 1.5 Billion Active Users Each Month

The world's largest social networking site Facebook has even grown bigger as it has surpassed another milestone with 1.6 billion active users each month. Facebook has achieved the milestone of 1.55 billion users in the third quarter of 2015. The growth has also added into its profit which has grown by 11 %.
Currently Facebook averages one billion whooping users each day. Twitter has only 320 million users. Of the 1.55 billion users active each day, 1.39 use mobile devices to log into Facebook. Mobile users now make up 78 % of Facebook advertising income. Nearly 727 million users only use phones to access social platform. Facebook has also doubled its daily video views to 8 billion each day. It is a massive improvement, considering it took Facebook just seven months to double its video views. Social network earned $ 4.5 billion ( and 11.3 %), up from 4.04 billion last quarter. Net profit for the quarter is stated to be $896 million, up from $ 719 million during Q2 2015. Such big profits are certainly amazing considering that Facebook has been investing heavily in artificial intelligence, virtual reality and Messenger platform.
