Muslim Girl Makes History In India
A history has been made in Gujrat (India) as a Muslim girl Afsana Muhammad Badeeh the youngest mayor of the village. The village Kankut is not highly populated as its total population is merely 4,000 people and there has been a tren/tradition since 24 years to appoint a Muslim mayor. This time same thing happened but the only change that Afsana is the youngest female ever becoming a mayor in the state. Afsana takes part in the official administrative meeting of the village twice a week and then goes to her family farm on a bike, where she sells cows' milk. Artificial jewellery is also prepared on her farm. Afsana told that she was working hard to provide adequate facilities to farmers. She is also determined to arrange good educational facilities to the girls of her village.
