PBC headquarter has dispensed the services of casual employees of Radio Pakistan, especially those of translators, news readers, It personnels and supervisors that include 33 casual as well contract employees of Radio Pakistan who were retired and re-employed on contract basis or were working on daily basis and 18 casual employees who were above the age of 60 years via PBC Headquarters, Islamabad's Memorandum No. Admn-1/11(2)/2011 dated 21-03-2014 and U.O. No Admn -1/11(2)/2011 dated 07-04-2014 and office order No 11/1 NE/ 2014 dated 28-04-2014. PBC administrators have wrongly interpreted the letter from the ministry that was for the re-employed retired persons of PBC who were working on contract basis (Fixed packages) or against handsome salary packages not those casual employees retired from other departments or PBC. The casual employees get 13-15 days duty per month and receive Rs 5,000- 7000/month. Those who work after retirement as "Master and Servant" conditions in PBC perform their duties during Eids, storms, rains and whatever the weather is because they they have to fill the bellies of their families in the prevailing hard circumstances are. Dear Madam! You are women and women are kind and affectionate and treat their subordinates as their family members. Kindly reinstate those terminated casual employees so that they may not die due to hunger. They will pray for your long life and prosperity. Jazak Allah.
