Syed Owais Qadir Shah Is The Highest Tax Payer While The Poorest Parliamentarian Maulana Paid The Lowest Of All

It is unfortunate on the part of our nation and the country that those who are the master of fate of the country and earn billion of rupees through businesses, industries and agricultural lands pay meagre amount of taxes to national exchecquire and expect middle class and government servants to pay taxes, utility bills and other government dues to run the country and to make some "Roti Daal " for them. It is not known for how long the poor nation will face troubles and difficulties. The 'contribution' of the parliamentarians for the country can be judged from the amount of taxes they pay to FBR. However, still 100 parliamentarian have not submitted details of their assets. Nawaz Sharif paid Rs. 2.646 million, Imran Khan Rs 0.194 million, Shahbaz Sharif 3.6 million, Hamza Sharif 4.3, Ishaq Dar 0.8 tax and 2.7 levy tax, Shujaat Hussain 1.8, Khurshid Shah Rs.6.2 million, while Maulana Fazal Rahman paid only Rs 13,000 as income tax. Chaudhary Itazaz Ahsan 8.7 million, Senator Parvez Rasheed 21,000, Syed Owais Qadir Shah, the highest payer of tax paid Rs 100.87 million, Senator Abbas Khan Afridi 100.80, Senator Talha Mahmud 100.29, MNA Sheikh Fayaz Ud Din paid 100.01 million as tax. Most of the members did not pay levy tax. CM KPK paid 0.3 million, CM Balochistan did not pay any tax, CM Sindh paid Rs 33,000 KPK member assembly Noor Saleem Malik paid Rs 100.15 million as tax. It is irony the people who have dozens of mills and factories and have thousands of scres as agricultural lands pay tax in millions or thousands while while heir tax dues could be more than 1000 million rupees.
