India Is Now Among 'Big Three' in Porn Consumption

The verdict is out. Ban or no ban, India is watching more porn than ever this year as it knocks out Canada to grab third position- after the US and Britain- in visiting one of the world's lagest adult website pornhub. In its annual review of how people around the world watch porn, pornhub found that while the US added 11 seconds to their average time spent on watching the porn, India at nine minutes 30 seconds - recorded a higher average time with a one minute increase in each visit. More of pornhub users are opting for using mobile devices like smartphones and tablets for the visit. The website received 21.2 billion visites in 2015, 40,000 visits every minute or 2.4 million per hour. In fact visits from smartphones alone now accounts for 53 % of the traffic shares, up from 45 % last year. Only 36 % of the traffic originates from desktop computers worldwide.

The most famous key word search among Indians was 'Indian', Bhabhi, aunty and teen. Bollywood actress is the most searched porn star, in India. Pornhub viewers from countries like Cuba, Mangolia and Kazakhistan tend to keep their session short just ranging from five to six minutes. In 2015, 'lesbians' was the most search term on the site. Overall. majority of the visits to the site takes place from 9 PM to midnight.
