Salman's Tasir's Last Dialogue In A Private TV Talk Show


Salman Tasir, The late governor of Punjab had said that blasphemy law was not Allah Made law, while Allah has Himself announced for giving punishment for any blasphemous act. This he said while talking in a TV talk show on a private news channel in " Front Line With Kamran Shahid" He said "this law is man made and may be reviewed. This law is wrongly used and I am not in favor of killing." He was answering to the questions of Government College University students. He said that man had no need to have law like this, Allah can punish the person for blasphemous deeds. Replying to a question he said that this is not written in law or constitution that President or Governor will be impartial and would not belong to any political party. People from all political parties even from Jamaat e Islami visit governor house and that i have opened governor house for the common man from all walks of life. He said in the TV show too that governor house was his private property , its expenditure was Rs. 10 million and even he did not receive the salary. He usually goes goes out with out any security measures. To another question about the party elections the late governor said that elections within party were held several times but the workers were unanimous on the leadership of Bhutto family because of sacrifices and every time leadership was elected from this family. He also narrated his sacrifice for the democracy and said that he had been jailed several times this cause. A student on this occasion said that if prison was the criterion for governorship he was ready to go to jail for 20 years. Another student said that struggle was not done by Bhutto family but people were struggling against price-hike. The student added that how does Bilawal know, who drives a car worth million of dollars, about the troubles of masses traveling in public transports. Late governor defending Bilawal Bhutto said let the people decide about the sacrifices and Bilawal was not in active politics yet. About the dance party on Tenth Of Muharram in the honor of Chinese Premier governor said those were little girls. Late Salman Tasir also said that he was on third or fourth position among the higher tax payers before taking oath as governor. He added that now he received Rs. 40000 salary ( earlier he said he was not receiving pay) and you can check the tax receipts. When asked by a student about the visit of Sri Lanka as a business tycoon, being a governor, late Salman Taseer said that he was not a "Colombo King' and his company was a largest brokerage company in Srilanka and that he had to inform only president to go any where and was not accountable to any "joker". Governor warned the students not to make speeches like politicians. When asked about the watan cards and troubles in obtaining the cards, Late Salaman Taseer said that here mother in laws were not ready to hand over the keys of house to daughter in laws while president had bestowed all his powers to the parliament.Students put pinching questions on the late governor about government's silence on drone attacks, price-hike, flood affectees and on many other issues.
