Iranians Will Not Be Able To Perform Hajj This Year

Iran says that its national will be unable to perform Hajj this year. The country has accused Saudi Arabia, its arch rival for incapacitating the arrangements amid major diplomatic spat and stampede during last year's Hajj. The Iranian delegation underwent four-day talks in Saudi Arabia but the the dialogue was disrupted due to closed Saudi diplomatic mission in Iran and frozen Iranian flights to Saudi Kingdom. Iran wants to issue visas to its citizens through Swiss embassy in Tehran which has been looking after Saudi interests since Riyadh broke off its ties in January following ransacking of its diplomatic missions by protesters after it executed leading Shiite cleric. While, the KSA has said there are no sanctions on Iranian pilgrims but Iran itself sent no application of its intending Hajis.
