Imran Khan Married A Journalist Reham Khan








Imran Khan the chairman of Tehreek e Insaaf tied knot with a journalist Reham Khan who works for British organisation and also worked as BBC weather girl, and 41-year-old Reham Khan is divorcee and mother of three kids to a doctor, despite opposition of the family members. A family friend said that relatives including his sisters were against this marriage and were surprised when he went ahead. Though, both Imran Khan Reham Khan knew that their marry is not in favour of their marriage. It is believed that his family and those in his political party tried him taking out of this marriage. However, couple are yet to make official announcement which apparently will be in New Year. Renowned senior journalist and anchorperson Dr Shahid Masood said Imran Khan is neither denying not admitting the marriage news. He is one of the close friend of PTI chairman and he said party has confirmed that Reham wants to actively involved in Khan's politics ans sees herself a future first lady.
She has also been presenter of regional news program "South Today" on BBC. Another Pakistani news anchor Farhat Javed Rabbani Tweeted that the couple married on December 27. Reactions to the rumoured marriage has been very negative in Pakistan and there has been a backlash on social media. Photos of Reham in revealing dress and a video of her doing tango while working for BBC are prompting insulting comments. Rival political paries are jumping on the negative reaction and and is believed that it will harm his credibility to marry a divorcee with a chequered past.
However, the sister of Imran Khan, Aleema Khan has strongly rejected the reports of her brother's marriage with former BBC weather girl, Reham Khan. She turned it a part of conspiracies by political opponents of Imran Khan who were trying to damage his popularity.
The clarification came just after Imran Khan's Twitter message, " The reports of my marriage are greatly exaggerated." Aleema Khan said that our family was still searching suitable woman for her brother's marriage.
