Pakistan Was The Target Of Electronic War Twice During 2011 By NATO And USA

The electronic war is fought through the war planes, drones, war ship and armored vehicles that are equipped with modern instruments (jammers)and having the capability of jamming all sorts of communication systems like radio, wireless, radars, sensors,GPS receivers, Mobiles and TV telecasts. American experts are trying to develop equipment that will jam the services of telephone and Internet in specific areas. Electronic war had gained special importance today in the field of war (military). Because it can paralyze the whole force of any country.
Pakistan experienced this sort of war twice during 2011. Firstly when American Stealth helicopter jamming some of the Pakistani radars successfully reached to the compound of Osama in May 2011. Secondly, when NATO helicopters equipped with jamming devices to block radars and communication system. attacked Salasa check posts in Mohmand agency in November and killed 26 Pakistani soldiers and officers. However, Pakistan learnt a lesson and realized the importance of electronic war.
In fact in future a country having the maximum most latest capability of electronic war will capture the battle field. This is the reason that electronic war course is an important discipline of education in the USA, China, Russia, India, Britain and France. The USA opened first such school in its military center in Fort-sill (Oklahoma). The USA wants that by 2013 , sixteen hundred experts in electronic war must be trained.
In electronic war electromagnetic spectrum is targeted. This is the spectrum in which seven electromagnetic rays gamma, x-rays, ultra-violet, light, infra-red, micro-waves and radiation waves travel. As among all these wanes radiation waves travel far off and their is low too, all the communication equipments like radios, radars, wireless, mobile and telephone work with these waves. However, USA and some European countries have developed equipments that work with infra-red and micro waves.
At present the most fatal weapon is American EA-18G Groler plane that has radar, antennae, and other high -tech equipments installed under its wings which search for radars of enemy and then jam the radio signals coming from them, if frequency is changed they are converted to the same frequency and do not let the enemy 's radars work. So actual target is to occupy the electromagnetic spectrum of the enemy. American Groller plane equipped with all these equipments costs $ 70.40. million.
