They waited for 42 years and when the prestigeous title of Miss Universe finally came their way, it was not without drama. Even host Steve had read out the wrong winner's name, crowning Miss Columbia first, before admitting the goof up and crowning Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo as the miss Universe 2015.

A few Painful moments passed when Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo was correctly named winner. It was an embarrassing gaffe that was aired worldwide and the internet went bersek.
