Is Oscar Winner Mahershala Ali Qadiani/ Ahmadi?
Usually Global Awards or Nobel prizes to Pakistani's, if any, are given to those who are quit different in faith from majority of Pakistani Muslims, or are secular or are the center of the issue that causes defamation of Pakistan. There are several examples of Pakistanis who have been awarded. If Ali is Ahmadi and is Oscar winner, so there is nothing astonishing. However, controversy arose when Mahershala Ali, who won best supporting actor Oscar for his portrayal of a drug dealer in coming-age drama 'Moonlight'. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi was forced to delete a congratulatory Tweet when people on Twitter began pointing out that Mahershala Ali was an Ahmadi.
