Smokers Face An Increased Risks Of Certain Types Of Cancer

Smokers face an increased risk of certain types of throat and stomach cancers, even years after they quit, a new study finds.
Combining the results of 33 past studies, Italian researchers found that current smokers were more than twice as likely as nonsmokers to develop cancer, either in their esophagus or in a part of the stomach called the gastric cardia.
In some of the studies, the risk of esophagus cancer remained high even when people had quit smoking three decades earlier.
The two cancers, both known as adenocarcinomas, are relatively uncommon in Western countries. Rates elsewhere are much higher, especially in less developed countries. But in recent decades, rates of the cancers have been rising in the U.S. and Europe possibly related to growing rates of obesity.
Smoking has long been considered a risk factor for the two cancers.
But these latest findings offer a "better quantification" of the risks, said senior researcher Dr. Eva Negri, of the "Mario Negri" Institute of Pharmacological Research in Milan.
What's more, they suggest that the risks remain higher than average for some time after smokers quit.
"Stopping smoking is highly beneficial at any age, but it appears that for these cancers the risk decreases only slowly," Negri told in an email.
For their study, published in the journal Epidemiology, Negri and her colleagues pooled the results of 33 previous studies. In most of them, researchers had compared a relatively small group of patients with either esophagus or gastric cardia tumors against a cancer-free group.
In three studies, researchers had followed large groups of adults over time, charting any new cases of esophageal or gastric cardia cancers.
Overall, Negri's team found, current smokers had more than double the odds of developing either of the cancers, compared to people who had never smoked.
And while that risk declined after people stopped smoking, it was still 62 percent higher in former smokers than in lifelong non-smokers. In some studies, the extra risk of esophagus cancer persisted up to 30 years after people had quit.
Since both esophageal and gastric cardia adenocarcinomas are fairly uncommon in the West, the absolute risks to any one smoker may be low.
According to the American Cancer Society, the average American has a one in 200 chance of developing any type of esophageal cancer over a lifetime, and a one in 114 risk of developing some form of stomach cancer.
By comparison, the odds of developing lung cancer are about one in 13 for men, and one in 16 for women counting both smokers and non-smokers. Smokers would be at much greater risk than lifelong non-smokers.
Lung cancer, heart disease and other ills are "numerically more important" than esophageal and gastric cardia cancers when it comes to the health consequences of smoking, Negri noted.
The types of studies that were available for her team to analyze can't prove that smoking causes adenocarcinoma of the esophagus or gastric cardia. To do that, researchers would have to purposely expose some people to years of tobacco smoke and see what happens to them over time and ethical reasons make a study like that impossible.
Still, Negri and her colleagues say, the risks seen in the current study offer smokers one more reason to quit and non-smokers one more reason to never start.

French Spiderman to Climb Burj Khalifa

After scaling the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Sydney Opera House, the "French Spiderman" now has his sights set on the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa in the cosmopolitan Gulf emirate of Dubai.
Alain Robert, 48, is due Monday to climb the exterior of the skyscraper which stands 828-metres (2,717-feet) tall, as part of an "Education Without Borders" conference for which it is being used as a venue, organisers said.
The climber, whose nickname comes from wearing the outfit of the fictional superhero while scaling the tallest of the tall around the globe, usually works without a safety harness, relying on bare hands and sturdy footing.
In Dubai, however, he will resort to a rope and harness, organisers said.
"The problem in Dubai is the hot weather (of) up to 40 degrees (Celsius, 104 Fahrenheit)," he said back in January 2010 when he announced his ambition to step up to the challenge. "My biggest fear is to waste my time on earth. For me, climbing is as important as eating and breathing. Climbing skyscrapers is my lifetime love and passion," he said.
Robert has climbed more than 100 of the world's tallest buildings, including the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Sears Tower in the US city of Chicago and the 88-storey Jin Mao Building in Shanghai, China.
A Malaysian court fined Robert after he scrambled up the Petronas Twin Towers, which also has 88 floors, in September 2009 with his bare hands in less than two hours.

Diabetes And Hypertension Are Related To Work Stress

The cause of most disease cannot be enumerated, but factors that enhance the effect of the disease can be typically analyzed.
People from different backgrounds have different life styles that can either contribute positively or negatively to their health.
A big question is, "How do people manage stress", and "How often do people eat fruits and vegetable" Stress basically increases the sugar level in blood; sugar are among the basic energy storage molecule in the body (Raven & Johnson 1996).
Imperatively, how often do people go for medical check up
Is our environment conducive for living, and have we considered the environmental risk factors responsible for certain ailment like Diabetes and hypertension.
A simple questionnaire containing information that will aid a simple statistical analysis which will further "breed" an hypothesis on whether or what causes Diabetes, hypertension, stress and effect of antioxidant on these issues.
Information regarding genetics as conflicted to causes of hypertension and diabetes will be compared to physical data collection and correlation of this data to brood an effective link/cause of both diabetes and hypertension amongst adult workers.
Facts were drawn from the samples and work styles of; Bankers, Traders, Doctors, Nurses, Insurance Company workers, Business men & women and more gave information on their life style as related to their health issues. A little bit controversial, people from both angles (Diabetic, hypertensive and non Diabetic and hypertensive) gave information similarly regarding their life style and living conditions. But, with the help of a statistical analysis we will be able to draw a conclusion and simple hypothesis on this issue.

Al-rahbat ul Saurat"--Revulionary Nuns- Qaddafi' Guards

The girls included in Qaddafi's personal guards are virgin, they have to undergo test for virginity before they are recruited as guards. It is also said that they remain virgin till they join his guard force then are fall prey to Qaddafi. But Qazzafi strongly refuses this allegation. A special college has been established for their training. Where they get training of martial arts, and shooting. These killers girls can use jewelery, lipstick, nail polish and high heel shoes. These girls are criticized by Muslim Community due to their western dress and the style of living. But Qaddafi says I have given these firls "power" and chances to live better lives. One of his former guard Aziza Ibrahim, who primarily belonged to Lebanon and remained his guard for 17 years said that the Qaddafi body guards have to leave everything even family. She killed once a relative of Qaddafi because he opposed him. She said that once 4 students protested in the presence of Qaddafi and they were hanged and all the guards were just looking as spectators. She also added that once 17 students were slaughtered and she could never forgot their cries. But his people were calling them as traitors, though they were not like this. She also said if she were thge guard of Qaddafi up till now she would have killed him. Qaddafi's views about his opponents have been disclosed and known now, Currently, a movement is going on against him and he is losing control of many cities, he said on TV that " I did not order to use full force yet if I do, every thing will turn into ash" He has also directed his Malasia to destroy oil pipe lines as a last step if defeat is near. Though pipe lines are not burnt still, but he is going to burn the country and turning it into ashes and rubble.

US Reacted Strongly To Manning's Alleged Disclosure Of Documents

The US government has reacted strongly to Bradley Manning’s alleged disclosure of recent diplomatic cables via WikiLeaks. We have heard State Department officials make their good case that indiscriminate leaks of contemporary communications, however much they contribute to public understanding of foreign policy, can undermine diplomacy and endanger human lives. But what we haven’t heard is that the Department has been withholding from the public historical documents that bear strongly on two ongoing foreign policy crises.
For years the State Department has refused to publish two long-completed books of documents that would throw valuable light on the roots of America’s problems today in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Iran. Even 50 or more years after the events they depict, these books could have positive effects on US foreign policy.
Under a 1991 law, the State Department is required to continue to publish, within 30 years, “all records needed to provide a comprehensive documentation of major foreign policy decisions and actions” including relevant covert operations. A timely process for appropriate declassification is provided. The “Foreign Relations of the United States” (FRUS) series is a primary source for researching and understanding American foreign policy and is widely used by scholars, students, journalists and diplomats. But two anticipated products of the 1991 law ‘retrospective’ volumes on Congo (1960-68) and Iran (1952-54) have never appeared. The manuscripts were completed many years ago after historians criticized earlier volumes for ignoring reported Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) programs that overthrew democratically elected governments and installed dictatorships. Incredibly, the ‘retrospective’ books have been stuck in endless ‘declassification’ reviews for up to a decade!
What’s the hold up on declassification? According to leading academic advisers to the State Department and the CIA, the latter agency has been the major force holding up the Congo and Iran publications. As years go by, the CIA keeps finding new passages in the texts where it feels declassification would be harmful. It also insists on taking new looks at previously approved portions as its reviewing officers turn over. Other reasons for delay have included disorganisation in the State Department Historian’s Office and the absence of any mechanism or political will to achieve finality in the inter-agency review process. Although the early political momentum associated with the 1991 law produced a major ‘retrospective’ volume on the CIA’s 1954 military coup in Guatemala (2003), that opening quickly closed. Consider the Congo manuscript. The State Department’s Historical Advisory Committee reviewed it in 2001, concluding: “[It] sheds new light on major, highly significant events in the history of US relations with the Congo in the 1960s.”

The Virgin Deep Colored Girls Of Qaddafi's Personal Guard Force

The man of moment to moment changing nature of Libya has hidden himself behind curtains. More than 4 decades of his rule, no body could know whether he is the most popular and favorite leader ( As he himself claims) of Libya or a dictator?. Is he with the super powers or against them that can be a drama? no body even could know what actually the spelling of his name is? Qazzafi? Qaddafi or Kadafi? He is of course of a unique nature no other ruler of the world is like him. Where ever, he goes in the world, instead of staying in 7-star and luxury hotels , he likes to stay in his tent. Once in 2008, he was on tour to France with his 40 member delegation. His this caravan consisted of 5 ships, including a camel. Another unique version of his nature is that he employs virgin girls as his body guards. This aspect is astonishing too as he wrote in his book" Green Book" decades ago that women should take care of their homes only. Why Qazzafi kept girls as his guards,? because Arabs hesitate to kill women folk. Women can be trained in a better way and they can not fell prey to any conspiracy easily. Therefore, women are trained not for safety but for killing. Prior to joining Guard Force of Qaddafi, girls take oath to sacrifice their lives for him. Once Qaddafi's Caravan was attacked, his guard Aisha made herself fall on Qaddafi and saved his life while all the bullets hit her body. She was Qaddafi's favorite guard and he remained sad for many days on her death.

Is The US Going To Admit Its Defeat In Afghanistan?

At a March 22 dinner at a restaurant in Washington - to present the findings of a high-powered task force on resolving the war in Afghanistan, I had an extended conversation with General Douglas Lute, President Obama’s top adviser on Afghanistan.
Lute was at the dinner, organized by Steve Clemons of the New America Foundation, to lend his support to the release of a new report, ‘Afghanistan: Negotiating Peace’, the result of a months-long study by a task force from the Century Foundation. To call the task force high-powered is an understatement: Its co-chairs are Lakhdar Brahimi, a former foreign minister of Algeria who twice served in a crucial United Nations role in dealing with Afghanistan, and Thomas Pickering, a former US ambassador to Russia, India, and the United Nations. Among the members of the task force were the former foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey, former senior diplomats from China and Japan, and a number of key former US officials, including James Dobbins, who was the US representative at the Bonn conference that put together the Afghan government after the fall of the Taliban.
The point of the report: It’s time, immediately, to start negotiating with the Taliban. “While some counsel holding back from negotiations until military momentum is clearly and decisively in their favor, we believe that the best moment to start a political process toward reconciliation is now,” said the report. And Lute, while noting that he doesn’t agree with everything in the report, told me that his office, and the White House generally, had been cooperating with the Century Foundation task force since its inception.
Lute pointed out the significance of Secretary of State Clinton’s February 18 speech, delivered to the Asia Society in New York, a much-overlooked speech in which she announced an important, perhaps decisive, shift in US policy toward seeking a dialogue with the Taliban. In the speech, which is available on the State Department’s web site, Clinton said that after the military surge ordered by Obama in December, 2009, it’s time for diplomacy. “We are launching a diplomatic surge to move this conflict toward a political outcome,” she said. Pivoting from the previous US insistence that any deals with the Taliban would involve mere “reintegration” i.e., bribing, cajoling and persuading low-level Taliban to come over to Kabul’s side, Clinton instead called for “reconciliation.” For years, reconciliation has been a code word for talking directly to the senior officials of the Taliban about a broad-based political deal, and Clinton is ready. She emphasized that talks must involve “not just low-level fighters” but a “responsible reconciliation process.” The major point of her speech was to emphasize that the preconditions for talking with the Taliban namely, insisting the Taliban “renounce violence, abandon their alliance with Al Qaeda, and abide by the constitution of Afghanistan” were now merely “necessary outcomes of any negotiation.” For the first time, the United States dropped its demand that the Taliban first agree to all that. Now, Clinton pointed out, it is enough that talks start with those goals in mind. And she added this zinger: “I know that reconciling with an adversary that can be as brutal as the Taliban sounds distasteful, even unimaginable. And diplomacy would be easy if we only had to talk to our friends. But that is not how one makes peace.”

A Strange Ruler Of Libya

The Libyan ruler till now (May or may not be in near future) is a strange personality. No body can imagine about him that what he is going to do in the next moment. Two weeks ago he said that Taliban were going to topple his government and Taliban are behind all the protests. However, other day he issued a statement that West must stop conspiracy against his government, otherwise he will make the Taliban join him and fight against the West. The ruler of the North American country, Libya for the last 41 years is called a dictator by the world. He came into power after a bloody conspiracy during 1969. During all his reign he remained under the accusations of state terrorism and violation of human rights. However, inspite of all this he was never in defensive position but was fearless. In his speech on the UN forum, his style was a unique one and he favored Taliban of Afghanistan and Somalian pirates. His remains on dagger heads with some body somewhere and is under dispute all the time. Once he was on a visit to Nigeria with 200 body guards, when Nigerian Airport Security wanted to unarm his guards, he got angry. Nigerian president himself reached to airport and suggested to get the arms register first before entering into the country with guards, but Qazzafi refused to do so and said he will go back to his country. After some time was was convinced by the president of Nigeria.

Air Chief Says We have The Technology To Stop Drone Attacks While Rahman Malik Says We Do Not Have

Air Force is fully capable of stopping missile attacks by pilotless American drones but it is up to the government to decide whether to do that, Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Tanvir Mahmood said on Tuesday.
Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed said it was up to the government to decide whether to stop such strikes through diplomatic and political means or by force. The Air Force is ready for any type of air defence, he told reporters in Karachi during IDEAS 2008 defence equipment exhibition at the Expo Centre. First this nation, you people, our parliament, our government, has to debate how we have to engage the foreign UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). Whether we have to engage them diplomatically and politically to resolve it or engage them militarily, he said.
The Air Force Chief said that PAF is fully capable to stop drones flights and missile strikes, adding that the government should hammer out a consensus policy in connection with the airstrikes by US forces.
Responding to a question, he said most of the fighter aircraft of PAF would reach their life in next few years after which JF-17 Thunder fighters would be added to fill the gap. The PAF fighter jets are fully capable to carry all kinds of warheads, he commented. Lt-Gen Ahsan Azhar Hyat, Corps Commander Karachi, said the participation of the foreign delegates in the defence exhibition has proved that Pakistan is a peaceful and responsible country, adding Pakistani arms and ammunitions stand at par with the world standard.
Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim also visited the exhibition and said that IDEAS-2008 has contributed to boosting the national image and will augment the exports of defence products.
Amin said that the contacts of Pakistan with the other countries will be instrumental for a better market abroad.

US Is To Demand Military Operation In North Waziristan Strictly

The United States is considering various options including typical hardcore solutions based on its carrot and stick policy in repairing strained relations with Pakistan by demanding military operation in North Waziristan Agency without any further delay.
Well-placed diplomatic sources told Sunday that Washington had been weighing various options in response to Islamabad’s March 17 strong protest with the United States over its inhuman drone hit on a peace congregation in North Waziristan Agency.
The US drone attack on a peace congregation, which killed at least 39 innocent people, had drawn a strong and rare condemnation both from civilian and military leadership of Pakistan which led to serious friction in relations between the two countries.
The sources said that there had been zero communication between the State Department and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan since March 17 when the Foreign Office summoned US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter and lodged a strong protest over the drone strike. Ambassador Munter on this occasion pledged to leave for Washington on March 19 to hand over Pakistan’s press note but failed, and instead revisited the Foreign Office on March 25 to invite Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir for a visit to the United States.
Pakistan had boycotted to participate in a trilateral meeting of Afghanistan, Pakistan and United States in Brussels on March 26 as a mark of protest ostensibly with the view that Washington would tender an apology but so far it has not happened since 17 March.
However, in the meantime the United Sates instead of any response kept Islamabad isolated instead and has been weighing various options with major focus on pressuring Pakistan to launch a meaningful military operation in North Waziristan, a region blamed as hub of terrorists. “That day is not far away when Washington using threatening tones would call for a ruthless military operation against the alleged terrorist hideouts in the North Waziristan. The US policymakers have already approved this as one of the options in case Pakistan doesn’t budge from its stand,” the sources said. Pakistan has been resisting US pressure seeking a meaningful military operation in North Waziristan with this plea that its military leadership would decide about it when deemed necessary.

Can High Protein Diets Harm Your Colon?

The high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets many people turn to for weight loss might have potentially harmful long-term effects on the colon, a small study hints.
In a study of 17 obese men, UK researchers found that a protein-heavy, low-carb diet created certain changes in the colon that could, over time, contribute to colon cancer risk.
The study looked only at short-term shifts in certain compounds that are byproducts of metabolism, and not actual disease risk. So it does not show whether high-protein diets really raise the risk of any colon diseases.
But the findings raise that possibility, the researchers report in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. "The concern raised by our studies is that the risk of colorectal cancer might be raised by long-term adherence to diets that are high in protein and low in carbohydrate, especially fiber," senior researcher Dr. Harry J. Flint, of the University of Aberdeen, told the health reporter in an email.
So what does that mean for people who want to lose weight?
Diets relatively high in protein and lower in carbbohydrates have been shown to help heavy people shed pounds. And, Flint and his colleagues point out, obesity is thought to be a risk factor for a number of diseases, including colon cancer.
"People should not be discouraged from losing weight, as this offers important health benefits," Flint said.
However, he added, they should make sure that any weight loss plan they follow includes adequate amounts of fiber. People should also be aware, Flint said, that a high protein intake over months to years might have ill effects in the colon.
The findings are based on 17 obese men who each followed three short-term diets: a one-week menu plan designed to maintain their weight; a four-week high-protein diet with moderate amounts of carbohydrates; and a four-week high-protein diet low in carbs.
The first diet, which allowed about 360 grams of carbs per day, typically offered cereal, eggs and toast for breakfast; a sandwich and salad for lunch; and chicken, fish or soy, along with pasta, for dinner.
The low-carb diet which allowed just 22 grams of carbs each day generally consisted of eggs-and-bacon breakfasts, and lunches and dinners heavy in meat, poultry and fish, along with some vegetables and cheese.
The moderate-carbohydrate diet allowed 181 grams of carbs each day. Both high-protein diets contained just less than 140 grams of protein per day.
At the end of each diet period, Flint's team analyzed fecal samples from the men to look at levels of certain metabolic byproducts.
On average, the study found, when the men were on the high-protein diets, they had higher levels of substances known as N-nitroso compounds, and certain other metabolites that have been linked to cancer.
And when they were on the high-protein, low-carb diet, they had lowered concentrations of fiber-derived compounds thought to be protective against cancer.
Exactly what those changes might mean for a person's long-term health is not clear. But Flint said that the findings suggest that people should be cautious about consuming too much protein and too little fiber over a prolonged period.
People seeking to lose weight, he and his colleagues say, should be sure to get enough fiber in their diets. In general, experts recommend that adults get about 28 grams of fiber per day, though it's not known whether that's enough for someone on a high-protein weight-loss diet.
Flint and his colleagues are currently studying that question.

Indians Have Been Befooling Pakistani Rulers and They Befool Pakistani Nation

From the day of Independence in 1947 India has never been friend or at least well-wisher of Pakistan, rather it wants from the day one to eliminate Pakistan from the earth or make slave or merge it as its state. India attacked Pakistan several times, imposed wars and got success in dividing Pakistan into two parts. It claims openly Kashmir as part of India. Never acted upon the UN resolutions not it will. Brutalities, cruelties, tortures , kidnapping , killing of innocent Kashmir's what is not done by India. Terrorism in Baluchistan, bomb blasts by hired killers are being carried out through the Afghanistan which is nearer to them than Pakistan. blocking the water of Pakistani rivers, constructing dams illegally on the Pakistani water. What India has done to Pakistan as a friend? Rulers may see while people who has the highest vision and understanding than them do not see any hope of goodwill from India. Every time any "so called" dialogue is held between the two countries, India takes up the Bombay attack issue or any other ordinary issue and breaks the talks. It itself did not hand over the culprits of Samjhota Express to Pakistan.
Now, to deceive the world Indian PM has invited Pakistani leadership to watch Cricket World Cup Semi Final Match in Mohali. This called Cricket Diplomacy, our "Wise Leadership " is expecting a breakthrough on the long disputed issue. Who is making fool of whom? What will be as announced in the last that both countries have agreed to carry on talks and dialogue in future. This cricket diplomacy was carried out by General Zia and Former president Parvez Musharraf. What happene/ any fruitful result came to light? At least Zia made Rajev Ghandi understasnd not to attack Pakistan, because Pakistan had constructed Atom Bomb and answer in the form of Bomb. And Zia succeeded in convey his message. This all is wastage of time of nation.

India And Pakistan Cricket Semi-Final In Mohali On Wednesday

India and Pakistan kicked-off the mind games ahead of their World Cup semi-final blockbuster on Sunday while New Zealand attempted to halt a three-pronged Asian assault on the title. Pakistan, the 1992 champions, insist all the pressure will be on India in Mohali on Wednesday where the hosts' status as tournament favourites will come under scrutiny from a 30,000 crowd made up almost entirely of home support. "If India were going to win the World Cup, this is their best chance," said Imran Khan, who captained the 1992 Pakistan title-winning team. "I am not trying to play mind games, but the fact that they are favourites and are playing at home will means they are under more pressure. Pakistan are keen to ramp up the psychological battle, fully aware of the significance of the first meeting of the two rivals on Indian soil since the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Women That Are Changing The World

The second decade of the twenty first century is bringing new changes in the world. These were never heard or seen before. The systems that were considered to stand on stronger grounds are collapsing. The dictators of the world are fleeing from their countries. Behind all these changes one can see the role of women. These include housewives, rulers and those living in remotest areas and villages are coming out on streets and joining processions and protests. They are establishing schools, welfare organizations, business institutions and are introducing new technologies. It is a fact that empowered and stronger women can change the environment around them, how, let us have a look on the acheivements of these courageous and bold women.:-

Is Syria Ahead Of Other Arabian States On The Path Of Revolution?

Thousands of mourners at a funeral for a Syrian killed in anti-government protests burnt a ruling Baath party building and a police station on Saturday as authorities freed 260 prisoners in a bid to placate reformists.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was facing the deepest crisis of his 11 years in power after security forces fired on protesters on Friday in the city of Deraa, adding to a death toll that rights groups have said now numbers in the dozens.
Hundreds gathered in the southern city’s main square on Saturday chanting for freedom. Three young men climbed on the rubble of a statue of late President Hafez al-Assad which protesters had pulled down on Friday in a scene that recalled the toppling of Saddam Hussein’s statue in Iraq in 2003 by US troops. The men had cardboard signs reading “the people want the downfall of the regime,” a witness said.
In nearby Tafas, mourners in the funeral procession of Kamal Baradan, who was killed on Friday in Deraa, set fire to the Baath party building and the police station, residents said.
A human rights lawyer said that 260 prisoners, mostly Islamists, were freed after completing at least three-quarters of their sentences. Protesters have been demanding the freeing of political prisoners and the lifting of emergency law.
Dozens of people have been killed over the past week around Deraa, medical officials said. There were reports of more than 20 new deaths on Friday.
Such demonstrations would have been unthinkable a couple of months ago in this most tightly controlled of Arab countries.

Fish Oil Can Prevent Diseases

A study of Alaska's Yup'ik Eskimos, who consume 20 times more omega-3 fats from fish than most Americans, suggests these oils can prevent obesity-related illness such as diabetes and heart disease, researchers said.
The researchers analyzed data from 330 people living in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta region of southwest Alaska.
Although 70 percent of the population was overweight or obese, they did not show the same risk factors for heart disease and had a lower prevalence of diabetes than the overall US population.
The fats the researchers were interested in measuring were those found in salmon, sardines and other fatty fish docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
In participants with low blood levels of these fats, obesity strongly increased heart disease risk measured by triglycerides and C-reactive protein, a measure of overall body inflammation.
Additionally, the researchers said that although the Yup'ik Eskimos have overweight/obesity levels similar to those in the US overall, their prevalence of type 2 diabetes is significantly lower 3.3 percent versus 7.7 percent.
"Because Yup'ik Eskimos have a traditional diet that includes large amounts of fatty fish and have a prevalence of overweight or obesity that is similar to that of the general US population, this offered a unique opportunity to study whether omega-3 fats change the association between obesity and chronic disease risk," said Zeina Makhoul, a researcher at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and lead author. "Interestingly, we found that obese persons with high blood levels of omega-3 fats had triglyceride and CRP concentrations that did not differ from those of normal-weight persons," Makhoul said. "It appeared that high intakes of omega-3-rich seafood protected Yup'ik Eskimos from some of the harmful effects of obesity."
The study was led by researchers at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and conducted in collaboration with the Center for Alaska Native Health Research at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. It published online March 23 in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
For the study, the participants provided blood samples and health information via in-person interviews and questionnaires. Diet was assessed by asking participants what they ate in the past 24 hours and asking them to keep a food log.
The researchers said however that further studies would be needed to make specific recommendations on diets or supplements. "If the results of such a trial were positive, it would strongly suggest that omega-3 fats could help prevent obesity-related diseases such as heart disease and diabetes," Makhoul said.

Rehman Malik Says BeNazir's Assassins Have Been Arrested

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday said that the assassins of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had been arrested and the facts of the case would be made public soon.
He said this while talking to media persons after the inauguration ceremony of a passport office in Gujjar Khan, the home town of Sayeeda Warsi, British Minister and Chairperson of UK’s Conservative Party. ‘We have all the information about the assassins of Benazir Bhutto regarding where they came from, the car they used, where they stayed and where the plot was hatched,’ he said, adding that the investigation report about the assassination of Benazir would be first presented before the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of PPP and the decision to make it public or not would be taken by the CEC.
Malik said that the government had fulfilled the promise made to the masses to arrest the killers of Benazir Bhutto. He said that the terrorist who was arrested while plotting to carry out an attack during the World Cup match was of Maldives origin and seven-member terrorists group had also been busted on the information of that accused. However, he made it clear that this network was operating from Afghanistan and not from Pakistani territory. ‘These terrorists had links with some militants of Northern Areas’, Rehman Malik added.

Event Of 9/11 And Assassination Of President Kennedy May Be The Planning Of By High Profile American Extremists

John F Kennedy a young and handsome person was the most popular president of the American people. Before him Eisenhower ,a former general remained the master of USA's fate for 8 years. During his reign USA conceived to be the Super Power of the world. Arms factories were established in every nook and corner of the country and USA started to get involved in the state matters of other countries to fulfill its interests. Many American historian see him as a Crypto (hidden Jew). John Kennedy did not belong to military nor was he from any fighter tribe so his trend was never towards wars. But, unfortunately military and secret agencies were very much involved in in politics and it was difficult to overlook them. American army and CIA both wanted to attack Cuba. They though about many plans and some of them were implemented like unsuccessful attack on Bay Of Pigs. President Kennedy got annoyed of the these both the important institutions. He started trying to minimize the influence of CIA and military so he took start from CIA. When the attack of Bay OF Pigs was a failure President got a chance and fired Director of CIA Elen W Davis along with Two Deputy Directors, Charles Cable and Richard Bell.He also snatched the the powers of making and carrying out para military plans plans, from CIA. This responsibility was bestowed to American Defence Ministry and to Joint Chief of Staff who were under his direct control as Commander In Chief. He also refused to extend the service tenure of general Lamenter for second time during September 1962. General Lamanter was also considered a Crypto by many people and he was the deep friend of general Eisenhower so was appointed as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs by Eisenhower. American historians say that the minimising the powers of military and CIA was the reason of his assassination and J F Kennedy was killed in the winter of 1963 and his killers are not known yet though Oswald was killed on the spot.

Pak-PM and President Invited By Indian PM To Semi-Final Cricket Match

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday invited President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to watch the India-Pakistan World Cup semi-final in Mohali on March 30, officials said. The formal invites are reportedly being prepared for what is seen to be as initiation of cricket diplomacy to boost ties between the two countries. India on Thursday beat Australia in the quarter finals to set up a dream clash with Pakistan in the semi final to be played in Mohali on March 30. India has also issued about 5,000 visas to Pakistani spectators to be able to witness the clash between arch rivals. Meanwhile, the frenzy over a heady World Cup semi-final clash between historical rivals India and Pakistan next Wednesday entered cyberspace with cricket fans calling it the "mother of all matches".
India takes steps like this off and on to make Pakistan to forget Kashmir issue and to show the world its goodwill gesture for Pakistan. Whether these are cultural troupe, film stars, singers exchange or ways and means for trade between the two countries. But, Kashmir that it calls its "Unbreakable Part" be forgotton by Pakistani rulers though Pakistani masses can not forget brutalities and daioly killings of innocent Kashmiris.

Malika, Deepika In For Item Songs

Hot item songs have become the order of the day, yet again. In between, item songs had gone extinct in Hindi films, but after 'Munni' (Dabangg) and 'Sheila' (Tees Maar Khan), item songs are back and how! In fact, several film-makers attempting masala films are ensuring that there's scope for at least one item number in the film.
What's even more surprising is the fact that the top league actors are more than enthusiastic when it comes to featuring in item songs, looking at the popularity of these numbers.
Mallika Sherawat's 'Razia' from Thank You and Deepika Padukone's 'Dum Maaro Dum' from Dum Maaro Dum have just been released, while David Dhawan has just filmed an item song on Sanju and Lisa Haydon for Rascals and Ready will feature a song on -- you guessed it right Salman Khan.
That's not all, there's talk that SRK will feature in an item song in his home-production Always Kabhi Kabhi, directed by Roshan Abbas.

Supreme Asks To Submit Details Of Contract Employess

Supreme Court has asked the Planning Commission to submit details of the contracts relating to the projects making Islamabad and Peshawar safe from security point of view.
The Apex Court bench headed by the Chief Justice Inftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the petition against ‘Safe City Projects’ filed by Shahid Orakzai here this morning. The petitioner has made a plea that transparent procedure was not adopted while finalizing these contracts.
Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission told the court that the safe city projects’ plan was still in the phase of final approval.
The attorney of the interior ministry submitted that China was providing loan for this project. The court was also told that the project to make Islamabad safe would cost $7124 million.
The Chief Justice in his remarks said that the cities should be made safe, but there could not be made any compromise on the transparency of the project. A former deputy chairman of the Planning Commission had also opposed the safe city projects, he added.
Later, the court demanding details of the contracts adjourned the hearing of the case for four weeks.

The Enigma Of 9/11

When one reads the details of "Operation Northwoods", mind reflects the incident of 9/11. Think about it and concentrate on the fore and back ground of the event and ask yourself who was the beneficiary of this incident.? Whose agenda was implemented? That agenda which was planned by Bush and Dick with the help of the American extremists or that agenda for which Osama is blamed for? If Osama hd to start war (Jihad- holy war) against USA then he failed to do so. He was definitely unsuccessful but the freedom movements of Kashmir, Chechnya, Phillipine and Bosnia suffered a lot as the freedom fighters were declared as terrorists. America targetted Iraq and Afghanistan and wasted its billions of dollars in these wasteful wars and reached near to bankruptcy. On other hand Israel got all the benefits from 9/11. This was acknowledged by Israeli Prime Minister Natan Yaho himself. The Israeli newspaper " Maareef" reported on April 16, 2008," We got much advantage of one thing and that is the attacks on twin towers and Pentagon and the efforts of Americans in Iraq too helped us. Due to this incedent Americans are favoring us." Americabn writer and Editor of website 'Antiwar" Jestman writes,' attacks on the the heart of valley of 'Farat' and 'Dajla' and then occupation of these territories, Israel is so powerful that it had never been before and now they got more aggressive and want to extend their influence as much as they can."

US Showing Cold Response To Pakistan's Efforts For Apology

Washington is showing cold response to Islamabad’s efforts seeking an apology from the US over the last week’s drone attack targeting a tribal peace congregation in North Waziristan Agency that had left at least 41 innocent people killed.
Well-placed sources informed on Monday neither the US ambassador to Pakistan Camron Munter had honoured his pledge to leave for Washington to deliver Islamabad’s note of protest, nor does the State Department seem prepared to tender apology.
This has been after Ambassador Munter’s summoned meeting with Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir held in the Foreign Office. The Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua had on record informed this scribe that the US envoy was to leave Pakistan for Washington on Saturday last despite the US Embassy’s claim that the ambassador was in Pakistan.
The powerful US ambassador has not yet left Pakistan, which further gave credence to the doubts that US is adamant to tender apology over the issue.
The Foreign Office spokesperson had no explanation when asked about the prospect of US seeking apology, except saying: “ We have made a strong demarche. Our concerns have been clearly and strongly conveyed. We shall continue to raise this matter with the US”.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari who is also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Pakistan has no plans to say a word over this crucial issue when he addresses the joint sitting of the Parliament today.
Sources still hoped that the President may include the issue ahead of his address, but so far his speech does not include any reference to the drone strikes in a glaring breach of Pak’s sovereignty and independence.

Number Of Lung Cancer Cells May Help Determine The Agreesiveness Of The Disease

British scientists have found that counting the number of lung cancer cells circulating in a patient's blood could help determine how aggressive the cancer is and predict the best treatment to use.
Researchers working with the charity Cancer Research UK looked at the number of circulating tumour cells, or CTCs in blood samples of 101 patients with a type of the disease called non small cell lung cancer before and after they had undergone one cycle of chemotherapy.
They found lung cancer patients with five or more CTCs had a significantly worse survival rates. The average overall survival was 4.3 months for patients with five or more CTCs compared to 8.1 months for patients with fewer than five.
The findings suggest that counting CTCs could be a simple way to monitor how well a patient is responding to treatment within a few weeks of starting it, the researchers said.
And being able to detect when CTC numbers are rising could give doctors the option to move patients on to new treatments more promptly. "We now need to test our findings in more patients but, if our results are confirmed, there is now the potential to tailor treatments to individual patients and find new ways to treat the disease," said Fiona Blackhall, a doctor from The Christie cancer hospital in Manchester who worked on the study.
Lung cancer kills 1.2 million people a year around the world and is one of the lowest survival rates of any cancer because over two-thirds of patients are diagnosed at a late stage when curative treatment is not possible.
More than 80 percent of lung cancers are caused by smoking, and less than 15 percent of people diagnosed with the disease survive longer than five years, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). In Britain, lung cancer is the second most common cancer and was diagnosed in around 41,000 people in 2008.
Chemotherapy and radiotherapy can slow the growth and spread of lung tumors, but in most patients the cancer returns and is also generally more resistant to treatment.
Blackhall's team, whose study was published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, noted there are no tests available that provide early warning about resistance, but said they hoped their findings might change that.
"In the near future we hope to be able to use gene sequencing tools to learn more about CTCs," said Caroline Dive of the University of Manchester, who also worked on the study. "If we can do this before a patient has chemotherapy and then again later if the cancer returns, we may be able to learn more about the processes that lead to drug resistance, and ultimately develop new drugs."

Inhuman Plan Of The USA To Attack Cuba During 1960's

The USA was working on plan to have reasons to attack Cuba with the favor of the American people, the world and the UN during 1960's. But what it was planning was inhuman, brutal and immoral plans. US general planned to kill Gullein , the first human being (astronaut) to go in the space and to fix blame on Cuba, but Kennedy government rejected the plan and Gullein returned back safely. Then planned to carry out terrorist activities around Guatamo Bay, American Naval Base situated in Cuba, in an organized way. In this plan, American soldiers had to put on Cuban soldier's uniforms and attack US's own naval base, arms depots had to be blown, firing on planes and the military installations had to be put on fire. A general proposed to creat an accident similar to that in February 1898, in this accident a ship carrying 266 American sailors were killed in the blast and its reasons are unknown yet. Among these immoral plans of US general one was as written in Operation North woods's document, to shoot civilians in Miami, Florida and so and so forth in Washington by the agents of CIA, FBI and other secret agencies dressed in Cuban uniform and specially those Cubans were to be killed who wanted to take asylum in USA. Another plan was suggested to carry out bombardment on Dominican Republic's Air Force Bases by fake B-26 and C-46 bombers of Cuba and then it will be shown to the world that Russian arms were found there. It will also be publicized that Cuba had sent messages to Dominican Communists for rebel. To hijack American passenger planes by fake Cuban agents to fulfill the objectives. Hence, thee were many suggestions by mad US generals to making grounds for attacking Cuba , but Kennedy government rejected all the plans and Cuba was safe. One can imagine that US can go to that extent where there are no human values left . The incidents of 9/11 and the crashing of plane of former president of Pakistan general Zia ul Haq the the clear example of these immoral plans of the USA.

Wealtheir White Women More Likely To Get To Get Melanoma

Adolescent girls and young women living in wealthy communities were more likely to be diagnosed with melanoma in a new study of skin cancer cases in California.
The authors think that might be because wealthier women may be spending lots of time out in the sun at home and on vacation and frequenting tanning beds. “It’s frightening actually,” Dr. Elizabeth Tanzi, a dermatologist at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore who was not involved in the study, told Reuters Health.
“The message of practicing safe sun is just not getting through to the people that need to heed the warning,” said Tanzi, who also heads the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, D.C. Melanoma is the most lethal form of skin cancer, killing almost 9,000 people in the U.S. last year, according to the National Cancer Institute. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light is known to increase the risk of melanoma.

In Pakistan The Situation Of Child Health Is Pathetic

In Pakistan the situation of child health is pathetic and serious efforts are needed by the government and civil society to save lives of hundreds of thousands of kids, who die every year from preventable diseases.
The grim picture of child health situation could be seen in the annual health report of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) for the year 2011, which says one child died every minute from EPI (expanded program on immunization diseases), diarrhea and acute respiratory infection (ARI). The report also reveals that every year about 400000 infants die in the first year of their life.
Child health in Pakistan is among the most important national issues that need a proper and serious attention. The child mortality in Pakistan is a major cause of concern, with every 1 among 10 children dying before reaching the age of five and 1 among 30, just after they are born. Pakistan is among the developing nations of the world that has yet to do much for the welfare of the general public.
Pneumonia and air pollution seem to be the factors affecting the health of the children in Pakistan. The air pollution is mostly caused by harmful emissions of bio-gas, which is used in most houses of Pakistan.
The main reason behind growing child mortality in Pakistan is lack of child health care facilities in rural areas, where majority of population lives. Low state spending on health care, abject poverty, low literacy, lack of skilled birth attendants, widespread communicable diseases, insufficient emergency child health services in government run district and rural hospitals are amongst other major reasons behind growing diseases in children.
Maternal, newborn and child health care statistics in Pakistan are some of the poorest in South Asia. A holistic approach is needed to improve maternal and newborn health, mainly by improving and upgrading facilities at the district hospitals.
Most common and lethal diseases in Pakistan include (ARI) acute respiratory, infection, viral hepatitis, malaria, diarrhea, dysentery, scabies, goiter, hepatitis and tuberculosis.
Among the victims of Acute respiratory infection (ARI) most vulnerable are children whose immune systems have been weakened by malnutrition. Majority of children visiting hospitals and dispensaries suffer from the respiratory ailments and serious attention is needed to provide better medical treatment to children living in rural areas.
Viral hepatitis, particularly that caused by types B and C are major epidemics in Pakistan with nearly 12 million individuals infected with either of the virus. The main cause remains massive overuse of therapeutic injections and reuse of syringes during these injections in the private sector health care. Children are also amongst the hepatitis patients and their number is growing sharply.
Malaria is a problem faced by the lower class people in Pakistan. The unsanitary conditions and stagnant water bodies in the rural areas and city slums provide excellent breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Like adults children also suffer from malarial diseases, which needs serious attention of healthcare policymakers.
Diarrhea is rampant in the country due to use of contaminated water. It is estimated that about 20 percent of diarrhea patients are children. Similarity, diseases like dysentery, scabies, dengue, goiter are also on the rise.
Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) Pakistan provides vaccination against childhood tuberculosis, poliomyelitis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B, haemophilus influenza type b and measles, besides protecting pregnant ladies with tetanus toxoid and their neonates against neo-natal tetanus. However, there is no success even to control polio.
Most births which take place at home under untrained supervision, which are responsible for alarming mortality of mothers and newborns. Children under the age of five face multiple obstacles, including birth injuries and infectious diseases. Millions of children suffer from short- and long-term adverse consequences of illnesses, malnutrition and injuries that impact their well-being and options in life, including fewer educational opportunities and diminished future economic prospects.
Child health is closely related to maternal health, as nutrition during pregnancy, birth conditions, birth spacing, and health status of the mother impact the health of the child prior to, during and after birth. Largely because of these factors, 3 million infants are stillborn each year.
Recent devastation floods in Pakistan have further increased the disease burden. United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) says as many as three and a half million children in flood-ravaged Pakistan may be at risk of contracting deadly diseases carried through contaminated water and insects.
UNICEF says the greatest threats to public health in Pakistan at the current time are certainly from waterborne diseases, which can intensify in precarious hygiene conditions, and when people have limited or poor access to safe water and sanitation services.
Diseases like cholera or acute watery diarrhea, dysentery or bloody diarrhea, typhoid fever and hepatitis, can all cause excess mortality and morbidity amongst the susceptible populations in the flood-hit areas. There is also an increased risk of malaria and dengue fever, since the stagnant water may provide an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes - the vector that is responsible for transmission.
To cope with the situation, the government must open more children hospitals in the country. In Sind province, there is just one big children hospital, National Institute of Child Health (NICH), running in Karachi by the federal government. There is dire need to open more children hospitals in the province and improve children departments in the hospitals of government-run teaching colleges in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Nawabshah, Sukkur and Larkana.
In order to save lives of children, pediatric wards should be opened in all district headquarter hospitals, where emergency services along with trained child disease experts should be made available.
Children are precious asset of the country and the government at federal, provincial and local government level should take serious efforts to improve health care facilities for them.

The Cuban President--Most Hated Person By USA

What type tactics and plans the USA prepares to diminish its hated countries and persons, that is clear in the "operation North Woods". Three weeks before the oath taking ceremony of John F Kennedy as the president of the USA, Eisenhower called general Lamanter and other military officers and put the problen of Federal Castro who was providing any excuse to attack Cuba. He further said that they had to make excuse for the attack and gain the favor of US citizens. He was of the view to carry out terrorist activities against American civilians. Though activity like this never practiced because when president J F Kennedy came into power he rejected this plan. This plan was the part of another big plan " Operation Monkneze" headed by general Linsdeal. All the secret and open activities against Castro were carried out through this plan. Afterall, the brother of J. F Kennedy and the Attorney General of the USA, Robert Kennedy ordered general Linsdeal on February 26, 1962 to stop implementing the this plan and to collect all the secret information about cuba during next 3 months. In the the report of J C S about the operation north woods carries the secret document that reads, " with the success of this plan UN and all the world would believe that Cuban government is a terrorist one and western half of the world peace is in danger." These generals were so in hurry ansd anxious about attacking Cuba and making ground for the attack that they could cross any limit of immorality and humanity. They even wanted to kill the first astronaut John Gullein in the space who had to had round of orbit on February 20, 1962. The motto of this historical space journey was," Truth, Freedom and Democracy". The american general were acting against this motto.

Pakistan Urges UN To Take Steps For Promoting Inter-faith Harmony

Pakistan has urged the United Nations to take urgent steps to promote inter-faith harmony, while citing the “despicable act” of desecration of the Holy Quran in Florida on Tuesday.
In a letter to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Pakistan’s permanent representative, Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon, voiced Pakistan’s strong condemnation of the burning of the Islamic holy book and expressed “profound regret and deep concern” at the increasing acts of Islamophobia and growing trend of intolerance and hatred towards Muslims as well as insults to their religious symbols and personalities.
Terry Jones, the controversial American pastor, oversaw the burning of a copy of the Quran at his small Florida church after the Islamic revered book was put on trial. “While this reprehensible act is the work of extremists and is evidently designed to provoke dissent and discord among communities and peoples across the world, such sacrilegious acts also go against the very concept of inter-faith harmony and threaten the multicultural fabric of the societies and the brotherhood of the United Nations,“ the letter said.
As strong active proponent of inter-faith harmony, the ambassador said Pakistan believes that civilized peoples and societies must resist and oppose any tendency towards extremism of any kind. Pakistan expects that the US Administration and American people as well as all civilized societies will take due cognizance and express their revulsion on this sacrilegious act.

Bradley Cooper Shows He Can Truely Act

Bradley Cooper shows he can truly act, truly command a screen and not just swagger and preen and flash that sexy smile - in "Limitless," and his performance goes a long way toward making this sci-fi thriller more entertaining, and more plausible, than it probably should be.
Cooper stars as Eddie Morra, a struggling and depressed New York writer living in a cluttered, rundown apartment. He's already divorced and his latest girlfriend, Lindy (Abbie Cornish), has just dumped him. These early scenes, in which he stumbles around the city in a shlubby, stubbly haze, reveal a depth we hadn't seen from Cooper in his previous films, like "The Hangover," "The A-Team" and "He's Just Not That Into You." And that makes them just about as exciting in their own way as the ones featuring the amped-up version of Eddie we'll see later on.
One day, he runs into his former brother-in-law, Vernon (Johnny Whitworth), on the street. Turns out Vernon is a pharmaceutical rep with a new wonder drug called NZT, which allows you to tap into your full brain potential. Eddie thinks, why not? He's got nothing to lose.
Suddenly, he's not only pounding out chapters on his long-languishing novel, he's cleaning up, picking up new interests, learning new languages and wowing everyone he meets. He loses weight, gets a haircut, buys some stylish new clothes and looks like well, he looks like Bradley Cooper. More importantly and more realistically, though, he does the thing we'd all do with frighteningly expanded brain power: He turns it into a way to make millions of dollars. Fast.
Director Neil Burger, whose first feature was the intriguing "Interview With the Assassin" from 2002, moves the story forward with an infectious energy. "Limitless" recognizes the insanity of Eddie's predicament and has a little fun with it - that he's seemingly unstoppable, even as he sinks deeper into addiction and discovers some troubling side effects. Burger didn't need to rely on some of the visual tricks he employs, though - words dropping from the ceiling to indicate a break in Eddie's writer's block, or multiple Eddies accomplishing tasks around the house. The fact that Eddie's world is brighter, faster and more sensory is enough.
Still, Cooper is surprisingly good as the down-and-out version of his character in the beginning, and as the wildly improved version of himself on NZT. Robert De Niro is quietly fierce (and does some of his best work in a while) as the financial guru who's fascinated by Eddie, and has a couple of scenes with Cooper in which he reminds you of just how formidable he can be. Cornish, meanwhile, probably doesn't get enough to do as Eddie's on-again, off-again girlfriend, who's skeptical of the new him.
You could probably scour the film for deeper themes: an indictment of the pharmaceutical industry, or our need to have it all and have it now. You could pick the script apart for impossibilities. But why bother? It's much more enjoyable to shut your brain off and have a good time.

The Most Dangerous Plan Of USA During 60's

The Us generals were thinking on a plan during 1962 to search reasons to attack Cuba. At last they agreed to a most destructive, immoral and degraded army plan that was approved by the then head of Joint Chief of Staff of US army along as well as all the members. General Lamban was the head of this authority while Admiral George Anderson (Navy), General George Decker (Army),General Kritz (Air Force) and General David were the members. The patriotism or brutality of these general reflects in the army plan that they approved and through which several innocent American citizens had to be shot dead on the roads, Cuban ships having having many Cuban refugees on board had to be sunk in sea, civilians and passersby in Washington, Miami and other cities had to be gun fired, air planes had to be dropped on special targets after hijacking. All this had to be done to get the favor of the American public to attack Cuba. ( Here one can recall the event of 9/11). American award winner journalist James Balm Ford in his book "Body of Secrets" in 2002 wrote the details of the operation. According to James this plan was first conceived by Former American president general Izenhaur. He was president during 1961 and his sun of power had to set. At that time cold war was at its peak and event of U-2 had occurred, in this environment of cold war he wanted to diminish Cuba.

Indian PM Misleading People-- Assange

The head of whistleblower website WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday of deliberately misleading the public by claiming that leaked US diplomatic cables allegedly pointing to payoffs to MPs during a 2008 parliamentary trust vote were not authentic.
"The comments I have been hearing from Prime Minister Singh these, to me, seem to be a deliberate attempt to mislead the public by suggesting that governments around the world do not accept the material," WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange told in an interview to a leading TV channel.
As per the WikiLeaks cables published in newspaper, a US diplomat was told that Rs 50-60 crore was kept aside by the Congress party to get some opposition members of the Lok Sabha on board before the trust vote in July 2008 during the first tenure of the UPA government.
The prime minister said in parliament that the government could not "confirm the veracity, contents or even the existence of such communications", and added that many persons mentioned in the cables have "stoutly denied the veracity of the contents".
Assange asserted that there "is no doubt, whatsoever, that the cables are authentic", which was the reason why the US government has been very upset over the leak of the diplmomatic cables.

"Operation North Woods" - A Secret Plan Of US Army

It was during the beginning of 1960 that Communist President of Cuba Federal Castro started to sign hundreds of social, economic, and military agreements with USSR. This made Us government nervous. During the same days, American refineries situated in Cuba refused to refine oil from USSR. Cuban president deported all the American staff and USA disconnected its diplomatic relations with Cuba. The tense condition prevailed between both the countries. The result of this tension created such a dangerous plan by USA Military Machinery to attack Cuba that can not be imagined in normal situation. The environment of hatred, enmity, and tension gave birth to a most dangerous plan named " Operation North Woods". It was not an ordinary army plan. Western expert say it the most destructive plan of US government. The reason was that US generals could not conceive any other plan to attack Cuba because Cuban Communist government was pinching like spine in the eyes of USA. Then the "highest US minds" created such a damaging plan. The basic features of the plan are so alarming that one can not think that the army of a world power (not super power at that time) can go far in this way.
The gist of the plan was that US army would commit terrorist activities against its own innocent civilians, and to chant voices against Cuba that it had killed innocent Americans and to prepare a ground that would make it easy to attack Cuba through the favor of US citizens.

Majority Of Egyptians Accept Army's Plan

Egyptians voted 77% in favour of the military’s plans for a swift return to civilian rule after mass protests ousted president Hosni Mubarak last month, official results showed Sunday.
More than 14 million Egyptians, or 77.2% of those who voted, approved the constitutional amendments intended to guide the Arab world’s most populous nation through new presidential and parliamentary elections within six months, organizing commission chairman Mohammed Attiya said.
Four million, or 22.8%, said “no”, Attiya told a news conference.
A total of 41% or 18.5 million of the estimated 45 million eligible voters turned out on Saturday to seize their first taste of democracy, after 18 days of demonstrations ended Mubarak’s 30 years of authoritarian rule, he added.
The turnout for Mubarak-era elections was always minuscule as none was genuinely competitive and in any case nobody had any faith their vote would count amid widespread vote-rigging and fraud.
The referendum on the limited changes to the constitution inherited from the Mubarak regime had been bitterly fought.
The youth groups which spearheaded the protest movement, and a host of secular political parties and opposition figures, called for a “no” vote, saying the timetable being set by the military was too tight for new movements to organize at grass-roots level.
But the changes were supported by the Muslim Brotherhood powerful and well-organized despite being outlawed under Mubarak and elements of his former ruling National Democratic Party.
The military council, which has ruled Egypt since Mubarak’s resignation on Feburary 11, was also widely perceived to back the changes, although its members remained studiously non-partisan in all their official pronouncements.
The army’s stock has been running high ever since it sided with the protesters against Mubarak. The military council has been keen to hand over the reins of power as quickly as possible and keep the army above the political fray. It gave a panel of experts just 10 days to draw up the amendments put to Saturday’s referendum, which was held only five weeks after Mubarak’s ouster.

Will President Announce Some Relief For The Nation In His Address? Or Will Begin His Speech From Bainazir To BaNazir

President Asif Ali Zardari’s address to a joint session of parliament on Tuesday (tomorrow) will mark the advent of the fourth parliamentary year of the present legislature.
In the address, which is a constitutional requirement, the president will highlight the achievements of the PPP-led coalition during the previous year and unveil the agenda for the next. The address is taking place at a time when many political parties are angry because of what they call the government hoodwinking the nation by facilitating the release of CIA operative Raymond Davis, making a mockery of the judicial system.
The situation this time is also qualitatively different because the PPP legislators gave the Punjab government a tough time during the first few days of the current session of the provincial legislature by resorting to pandemonium because of the chief minister’s support to the PML-Q dissidents, who have declared their support for the PML-N.
It is now the PML-N’s turn to ‘retaliate’ and settle scores with the federal government.
The prime minister is already aware of the likely situation the president may have to face. To ward off any untoward eventuality, he talked to Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday and requested him not to stage any protest during the president’s address. He was not given the required assurance.
The PML-Q decided at a meeting in Lahore on Sunday to boycott the joint session. The party leaders are trying to establish contacts with other parties having representation in the bicameral legislature with a view to persuading them to follow suit. However, for the time being it’s not clear which party will adopt what strategy on the day.
Observers say that boycott in the present situation will amount to facilitating the president to speak uninterrupted. Maybe, the ruling coalition will want all opponents to stay away from the house till the president completes the ritual.
In case the president is heckled or opposition MPs shout slogans, this will be the first time that he will be facing what some past presidents had to face at the hands of then opponents.

My Arab Brothers In Islam Beware Of The West

Beware of the vested designs of the western countries. All revolutions can not be successful as those in Tunisia and Egypt. Specially , the current situation of Libya that seems to turn into exactly the situation that is in Iraq or Afghanistan. USa and other countries will fulfill their intentions to occupy the oilfields in the Arabian countries. Those who are chanting happily for the air attacks by France and other western countries on Libya will weep soon. My appeal to other Arab brothers is please do not follow the path of Libyans or Egyptians. Specially those in Saudi Arabia, west is never a friend to Muslims they are the worst enemies . They are taking the revenge of the defeat by Muslim Soldiers in the Past and that of Salah ud Din Ayubi in wars. The people in the countries ruled by dictators are strongest now, the dictators the most weakest in these days, they have seen the fate of Mubarak and Zainul Abedin. You can dictate what you want but for the benefit of your nation and countries. Never ever clean the path for foreign invaders. Learn lessons from Iraq and Afghanistan. Please do not involve your country in dangerous protests, follow peaceful protest and procession. In Saudi Arabia only one sect is creating trouble , be careful they are the worst enemies funded by a neighbor Muslim country. May My Allah Keep you and all the Muslims on the earth in His Panah( Protection)from Shaiteen Mardood(Iblees Laeen)
