Why Raymond Davis Is So Important For The USA?

President Obama was law professor before being elected as senator and then president of the USA.He would have been familiar with the international laws. Inspite of being a lawyer he showed unfamiliarity with the international with respect to Raymond Davis case. This sort of ignorance does not match with his personality. He does not even know the difference between the immunity for a diplomat and and an employ of a consular. He in a press conference pressed Pakistan to release " US Diplomat". The fact actually is that Raymond is not a diplomat and can be an employ of a consulate at the most. In addition the person who briefed him about this matter he neither know the basics of Vienna Convention for relations of counselor (1963), nor he had studied the document of US Foreign Office for," Immunity and instructions of Diplomat Counselor for Law enforcement and Judiciary". President Obama had referred to the Vienna Convention for Diplomatic Relations (1961),that is a separate chapter of laws and has no concern with Raymond Davis case. Raymond himself told police officer that he was the consultant at American Consulate Lahore. Now, his case would be decided in the light of his statement according to the Vienna Convention for Counselor Relations. The the article 41 of this law reads," Counselor officers can not be arrested or jailed in a court case, unless they are alleged in any criminal case. Then they can be arrested and authorized court will decide their fate". Raymond Davis has killed two persons directly and 2 indirectly, is not this a criminal case?

Sir,
you are right , USA has its own interests and Raymond was on a special mission to Pakistan and the persons he killed might be working for him. He might be knowing them. USA is afraif that he may not disclosed his secret mission to Pakistani Police and secret agencies. Thee it wants to get him released as soon as possible.
