Pakistan Youth Likes Islamic System Or Military Rule For Pakistan

The elction compaign in Pakistan is in in its full swing. But, in a survey conducted British Council says Pakistani youth says democracy is not a suitable system of government for Pakistan. The survey comprised the questions to 5000 young boys and girls aging 18 and 19 years. Ninety percent of thenm said Pakistan was not on the right path. While this percentage was 50 % during the survey conducted in 2008. Youth is not not satisfied with the past five years so called democracy. When they were asked about the best political system for Pakistan, majority was in favor of Islamic system, on the second number they prefrred military government and democracy was on the third number. Seventy percent of the respondents had full confidence in Pak Army while only 13 % favored democracy. Young generation was more concerned about price hike than terrorism. The role of youth is of prime importance in the May election and majority of them stands by Imran Khan. They are one-third of the registered voters in Pakistan. They can change the political scenario with the weight of their votes. The young generation was also didcouraged from the fake degree holders and from those who did not know the basic priciples of Islam Many candiadtes when asked religious question by the Returning officers, they did not know Kalma, about prayer and any Sura of Quran. How they deserve to sit in the parliament of an Islamic country. Hell with them.
