A former famous Indian film actress Shweta Prasad was arrested in prostitution. Media told that she ios one of the actresses who are trapped in sex trade. She was arrested in Hyderabad in a hotel along with others involved in this crime. Twenty-three-year old actress Shweta Prasad is well known for her role in 2002 film "Makadeee". In the film she played the lead role of a young girl captured by a whitch aged just 11. Shweta Prasad won National Film Award for Best Child Artist for the role, but has not appeared in Bollywood film for the last eight years. In a statement reported in the Hindustan Times the actress said she was lured into the sex trade when she ran out of money and saw no alternative. I had made wrong choices in my career. "all doors were closed and some people encouraged me to get into prostitution to earn money, I was helpless and with no option left for me" Prasad said. A mumbai businessman who has not been identified, was of many people arrested in the raid and investigation is going on whether girls were also forced into the sex profession.
