MQM Chief Altaf Hussain Has Been Arrested In London
Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has been arrested in London from his home situated in North West London by Scot Land Yard Police in accusation of money laundering case after recovery of seven lakh (0.7 million) pounds from his home and office. Altaf's arrest was made by counter-terrorism unit of the law enforecement agency of London today, where his home was sealed by London police. London police and agencies were holding investigations against Altaf Hussain in three case including money laudering, controversial speeches from London and Dr Farooq Imran murder case. Earlier London police arrested senior member MQM Imbisat Malik in a case linked with money-laundering while he was working on the post of Coordination Committee in London. Malik was also sentenced to 21-month imprisonment on January 24 of this year over founding him guilty in mortgage fraud case at the Isleworth Crown Court. It is astonishing that neither Pakistan was involved in the arrest of Altaf Hussain nor Pakistan investigated the case and sentenced him but MQM worker are creating law and order situation in Karachi. Why? Can its senior leaders stop them damaging the national and private property if they call themselves patriots. Why they warned government to boycott its budget session. Scot land Yard has investigated the case that is an independent institution even British government can not pressurize it. It is not Pakistani police its investigation is impartial and MQM must admit the truth.
