Addressing the first meeting of the 40- Islamic Country Alliance the crown prince of Saudi Arabia has retiteriated his mission to uproot the terrorism from the earth. He added we will chase the terrorists till the end of terrorism. Muhammad Bin Salman said that in the past the terrirism has been playing its role in the countries and there had been no cooperation between the national administration and from today with thisalliance it has been ended.
The head of the miitary alliance (retd) Pakistani general Raheel Sharif also said this alliance is not against any relion nor any country. In the first meeting of the alliance defence ministers from 41 countries participated. In the Islamic country alliance Egypt, Qatar and United Arab Emitates participated in addition to Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and African countries, while Syria, Iran and Iraq are not the part of this alliance.
Federal Law Minister Zahid Hamid has submitted his resignation to prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and it is expected that the resignation will be expected today. Yesyerday, he met with Shahbaz Sharif and talked to him for an hour where it was decided that law minister should resign to take the country out of crisis. He also said at the time ofsubmitting resignation that he was not directly concerned to amendment bill, it was the synonimous decision of the larliamentary commiittee. During the operation of secuurity forces to end the sit-in on last Satureday, eight people died and dizens were injured including police and rangers officials.
Hours after police and paramilitary forces launched crackdown on protesters on Satureday, the elecronic media watchdogs shut down the transmission of all private newschannels, accusing them of violating the code of conduct. Menwhile Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) was ordered to suspend popular social media networking sites including Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Daily Motion. On other hand, govet called army after abortive operation to break sit-in at Faizabad. Total media blocked out left people without any information about what was happening in major cities across the country. While life in the coutry has come to stan still. All highways leading to Islamabad have been blocked andno traffic is coming to the capital. Other major cities have also have been disconnected and contacts through traffic is impossible.
The deadline given to Faizabad propesters started last night at 1200 am and police operation has been started. Police has shelled tear gas. A large number of police, FC and rangers are present all aroound the participants of sit-in. Fresh contigents of rangers and police have also arrived at Faizabad. Teams have been constituted for arresting the propesters, they will be pushed towards Murree road. All the shops and hotels around Faizabad have been closed. Operation is being done from all the four sides. Water canons andarmoured vehicles have also reached to Faizabad. Vecles for taking arrestees have also reached. Clashes between police and protesters continued, They tried to occupy the van carrying protesters but failed. Prptester have put trees and plants on fire. According to Islamabad administration control of Faizabad bridge has been taken over.
After dispersing, propesters have returning back and they are throwing gas shell back on police. However, police has not done any violence neither batoon charge has been done.
Propesters are also throwing stones on police, Fc officials and journalists too.
