The state of Kerala has been stuck with nature’s fury because of the sins of beef eaters,” Chakrapani. “All this has happened because of them,” he added. Since Narendra Modi’s ascension to power, cow slaughter has been banned in most Indian states but Kerala is in the minority as beef is legally available there and serves as a regular staple for Christian and Muslim communities.
