Husne Mubarak Sentenced To Life In Prison
An Egyptian court has sentenced ex-President Hosni Mubarak to life in prison for complicity in the killing of protesters during last year's uprising.
The 84-year-old is the first former leader to be tried in person since the start of the Arab Spring in early 2011.
Former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly also received a life sentence over the deaths of demonstrators.
Mubarak and his two sons - Gamal and Alaa - were acquitted on separate charges of corruption.
Shouting and scuffles erupted in court after the verdict was read out.
Some people were angry with the court's decision to acquit four senior aides to Adly, who were also widely blamed for the death of protesters.

Outside the building, Mubarak's sentencing was greeted by celebrations from relatives of those killed, according to the BBC's Yolande Knell.
Firecrackers were set off. Soha Saeed, the wife of one of the victims, shouted: "I'm so happy. I'm so happy."
But the joy soon turned into angry shouts as the crowd learned that the former interior minister's aides had been cleared.
Protesters clashed with riot police. The verdict also sparked angry demonstrations in Suez.
In his preamble, Judge Ahmed Refaat insisted the 10-month trial had been a fair one.
He spoke of the Mubarak era as "30 years of darkness" and praised what he called "the sons of the nation who rose up peacefully for freedom and justice".
Announcing the verdicts, the judge then said Mubarak and Adly had failed to stop security forces using deadly force against unarmed demonstrators.
Mubarak, who ruled the country from 1981 to 2011, had faced a possible death sentence over the killing of about 850 protesters.
Egypt's state TV said Mubarak was set to be moved to the hospital of Tora prison, near Cairo, where a number of figures from the former government are serving jail sentences for corruption.
Since his trial began last August, Mubarak has been held in the International Medical Centre outside the capital, as his lawyer said he was in poor health.
Despite their acquittal, Alaa and Gamal Mubarak are to remain in detention.
On Wednesday, prosecutors said they would go on trial with seven others on charges of stock market manipulation.
The verdict comes as political tensions are rising in Egypt between two rounds of voting in a presidential election.
Many of Egypt's young revolutionaries are bitterly disappointed by the choice they now face between a Muslim Brotherhood candidate, Mohammed Mursi and Mubarak's last Prime Minister, Ahmed Shafiq.
The first leader toppled during the Arab Spring was Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia, who was found guilty in absentia of drugs and gun charges in July.
Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed by rebels in October. Yemen's Ali Abdullah Saleh received immunity from prosecution after handing over power in November.

Cricket Has Become Business In India
human history reveals that sports were started to provide recreation to the human beings, and to bring different nation closer to each other and to promote goodwill sentiments. But, Indian cricket board has turned the cricket into business which is called the gentlemen's game. Business means to earn more and more money and this is the purpose of Indian cricket.
Therefore, majority of Indian cricketers do not play for the respect of the country not even for personal success but play for the money. This was the reason that six months ago Indian team was defeated badly in test matches by West Indies, Britain and Australia because all the energy of the players was sucked by IPL matches. The Indian cricket board is run by politicians, businessmen and industrialists who look for money not the quality of the game.
Indian cricket board is a private organization, but government is fully at the back of the board and exempted it from paying several taxes. It does not pay recreation allowance and government provides it the facilities of police, fire brigade and medical staff, though board is a rich institution.
All the owners of IPL teams are billionaires and government has extended all the privileges and facilities to them. This is the worst example of injustice and nepotism.
Moreover, high level corruption is the common routine of the cricket board. Huge money is pocketed through attractive contracts and sale of tickets by the officers. Due to the corruption, it was demanded in the parliament recently, accounts of the board be audited by the auditor general Vanod Roy, this was due to Vanode Roy's auditing of 2-G Spectrum that the case came to light and minister for telecom was jailed.
The cricketers in India are highly paid. Inspite of this huge earnings match fixing is practiced on vast scale. The Indian captain Mehandar Singh Dhoni earns Rs. 500 million annually through cricket and ads. His daily earning is Rs 2 million. While Sachan Tendulkar earns Rs 400 million annually and his daily income is Rs 1.6 million. On other hand Indian president receives only Rs. one hundred and fifty thousand as her salary per month. While the president of the world super power Obama gets Rs 150000 daily per day.
Indian board has made 3 categories of national cricketers, the 7 players of this category receive Rs 10 million salary in the season, while 9 players of second category receive Rs 5 million and the players of third category get Rs 2.5 million per season. Moreover, cricketers get Rs 0.7 million for each test, Rs 0.4 for one day and for T-29 each player gets Rs. 0.2 million.
Indian board has 3 categories for first class players too. The first category includes the players that have 5 years experience and they are paid they get Rs.0.3 million per season while second category player having 2 years gets Rs 0.2 million and in the third category new learners get Rs.0.1 million per season.

Facebook Remained Unreachable For Several Hours
Facebook has suffered a series of service disruptions which left many people unable to use the social network.
The problems meant that the site was unreachable for some people for almost two hours.
Sporadic disruptions were reported by many people and even those who could get through said pages were taking a long time to load.
Facebook apologised but said it had fixed the problem.
Stock slide
News of problems getting at and using Facebook spread quickly as people took to Twitter, news sites and blogs to express their frustration.
"Facebook is acting like its stock. It keeps going down," quipped one Twitter user.
Website watching sites such as Downrightnow and Downforeveryoneorjustme reported that the site was intermittently available for a period of several hours.
In a statement, Facebook said some users "briefly experienced issues loading the site" but these had been resolved and it should be working fine for everyone. It gave no details about what had caused the problems.
Facebook has a reputation for reliability and the problems come at a sensitive time for the company. It is under intense scrutiny given the poor performance of its stock following its flotation on the Nasdaq stock exchange 18 May. The stock has fallen almost 23% since its debut.
Who Are The Terrorists? Muslims Or The Western Countries
It is no more than a compaign or a crusade against Muslims as Bush Junior had already termed it the day he announced war against terrorism and attacked Afghanistan.
A great German Muslim Scholar has very beautifully shown mirror to West to see their face in it. When he was asked about terrorism and Islam. He replied who started the First World War? Were they Muslims?
Who started the Second World War? Muslim? Who killed about 20 million Aborigines in Australia? Were they Muslims? Who had thrown atom bomb first ever in history of human beings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and killed millions of living creatures and vegetations in Japan? Were they Muslims?
Who killed more than 100 million Indians in North America? Muslims? Who killed more than 50 millions Indians in South America? Muslims? Who caught about 180 million Africans like animals as slaves and out of them 88 % died and their dead bodies were thrown in Atlantic Ocean? Were they Muslims? No they were not Muslims. First of all West has to define terrorism properly. Who is killing Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq? Victims are all the Muslims and the Killer? What they would be named? Hindus and Jews when kill freedom fighters they are appreciated that they are killing terrorists. If any country is invaded by foreign forces , do not that nation has right to push them out of their country? First of all terrorism is to be defined properly. If a non-Muslim does something bad it is a crime, but if the Muslim commits same deed he is terrorist. First of all West has to remove the double standard then they will know who are the actual terrorists in this world.
Deceiving And Downgrading Of Pakistan By India In The Cricket World
In the past when England and Australia were heading the International Cricket Council, Pakistan stood with India in every critical movement to end the dictatorship of white people. But, now when Indian cricket board became most powerful within ICC, it started deceiving and downgrading Pakistan instead of helping it.
After Mumbai attacks during 2008, India has determined to to make Pakistan an "Untouchable" in the world of cricket. So, it stopped Pakistani players to be included in IPL and stopped Sri Lankan team from playing in Pakistan, but when Sri Lankan team did not stop to play in Pakistan, it was attacked in Lahore.
Similarly, Bangladeshi national cricket team canceled its Pakistan's visit, recently. The senior Pakistani Cricketers are sure that it was India behind the scene to the cancellation of visit. India has rewarded Bangladesh for the cancellation of its visit to Pakistan that Bangladeshi team will now visit India.
Recently, Indian Board has invited T-20 Champion, Sialkot Stallions to play IPL next year. It is not like that India has sympathy with Pakistan or India wants to share our worldly loneliness, but monetary benefits are hidden behind this invitation. On other side our cricket board is celebrating joys on Indian's invitation. Pakistan would have not looked toward India what it has done with with Pakistan's national cricket, but this could be done by the nation having national integrity that we have lost years ago.
Actually, India has sold its rights of televising the matches to ESPN-Star Network, and this network wants Pakistani team to be included in the IPL so that sensation may be created in the tournament. More people will watch the matches this way and network will get more ads. So , Indian could not tolerate the pressure of "golden egg laying hen" and invited Pakistani team for IPL.
Gambling Worth $ 25 Billion Takes Place Annually In All The Cricket Matches In India
Cricket is being played more than anywhere else in India, so it has become the center of gambling too. It is estimated that gambling to the tune of $ 25 billion (Rs. 2300 billion) takes place in India annually on all the matches. Taking from common man to players all are involved in this game. Some players fix matches for million of rupees. Some cricketers play bad balls, bad shorts or leave catches for million of rupees. Some experts say that in the IPL matches from first ball to the last one all are fixed. therefore astonishing results are observed.
The scandal revealed that IPL has become an easy source of money laundering. It happens so that owners purchase favorite players after paying million of rupees and Indian Cricket Board also is aware of the illegal ways, but black money is the big problem of India because corruption is prevailing on private and government level every where.
It was also revealed that girls are used in match fixing. Specially those girls who amuse the spectators in the ground. They play role of communicators between between the gamblers and players. More over, the players also attend rave functions usually where they are presented drinks and beauty.
The IPL is the highly paid tournament for players, so playing this tournament a player earns as much money in a month as board can pay in a year. Due to this huge earning many players prefer to play IPL than going to play in national team. Malanga who who born in Sri Lanka left test cricket to focus his full attention on IPL.
