France parliament approved a resolution on Tuesday declaring Palestine as an independent State. It is noteworthy here that in October, Sweden became the first biggest Western European country to recognize Palestine. Parliaments in Spain, Britain and Ireland held votes in which they backed non-binding resolution in favour of recognition.
