Maoists Killed 13 Indian Soldiers
at least 13 paramilitary on Monday were gunned down in a fierce attack reportedly by Maoist rebels in Central India. Maoist rebels raided Indian soldiers in Sukma district located in Chhatisgarh state. which is 385 kilometers away from state capital Raipur. A top police official of the state told the deceased belonged to Central Reserve Police Force and were engaged in fighting in the area known to be their stronghold, and added that few other details were not available from the remote region. Maoit rebels are said to be inspired by Chinese revolutionary leader Mao Zedong and are fighting in 20 of the 28 states with thousand of fighters.
