Abu-Bakr-al- Baghdadi's Wife And Daughter Have Been Detained in Labenon
One of the wives and a daughter of Islamic State (IS) chief Abu-Bakr-al-Baghdadi were arrested by the Lebanese army when hey were crossing from Syria nine days ago. However, the security officials refused to provide the names and the nationality of the detainees. Both the women were detained in northern Lebanon and were shifted to the headquarter of Lebanese defence ministry for further investigation. The army detained them in coordination with the 'foreign intelligence apparatus'. The detainees were likely to be bargained with many foreign, Iraqi and Syrian prisoners captured by IS fighters. A senior Lebanese security official said Baghdadi's wife was travelling with one of their daughters, contradicting earlier reports that it was his son. DNA tests were conducted to verify it was Baghdadi's child. Despite a major blow to the declared 'Caliph of the Islamic State' Abu-Bakr-al- Baghdadi, no immediate reaction was seen on the IS websites.
