Two Caretaker Federal Ministers Are Alleged For Corruption---TI

Transparency International has written a letter to Caretaker prime ministr regarding the alleged corruption charges on Sohain Wajahat minister for petroleum and Asad ullah Mando Khel federal minister for communication. In the letter TI wrote that miniter for petroleum made a cartel for supply of petrol. The Semens Pakistan company of petroleum minister got Rs 46 billion contract for supply of petrol from WAPDA in a non-transparent way. Similarly, in the supply of petrol to PSO through National Shipping Corporation, the priciples of transparency were also not kept in view. Asadullah Mando Khel has been getting contracts from National Highway Aurthority in the past that were taken by means of fake guarantees. The letter adds that after allegations of corruption on the ministers it would not be appropriate for the government to keep them in the cabinet further. Similar allegations were against the former prime minister who may be declaredinillegible for election.
