Sheikh Rasheed's Papers Challenged Over Alleged "Secret Marraige"

The candidacy of the head of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed was challenged from NA 55 Rawalpindi today. A petition filed in Election Tribunal has alleged that AML chief did not declare "Lal Haveli" in his assets on nomination papers and thus violated the idealogy of Pakistan. The complainant further said that Sheikh Rasheed was married and he did not disclose his marriage in nomination papers. The petitioner argued that Sheikh Rashedd did not remain Sadiq and Ameen under article 62 of the constitution. and his nomination papers should be rejected.
