Several Top Politicians Are Bank Defaulters
Pakistani politicians have made is a tradition of digesting bank loans. As they usually are in power or their near kins are in government they are covered and saved and banks do not dare to ask them to return babk loans. They have filled their foreign accounts and emptied the Pakistani Banks. Other politicians submitted fake degrees and enjoyed perks and privileges for five years and received their investment on election compaign with manifold profit back. How they are going to face the masses and demand votes to come into power and repeat the same practice. They are shameless, of course. Now as the strict scrutiny is going on, banks and NAP have provided the names of the politicians who have to return huge money to banks. The list includes Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Ahmad Mukhtar, Zafar Baig, Abdur Rahman Kathran, Hamza Sharif, Muhammad Makhdoom Gilani and several others. Shahbaz Sharif had taken Rs 3 billion 90 million loan for Hudaibia Paper Mills from bank, Ahmad Mukhtar has to pay Rs 13 billion of four loan banks, Jahangir Tareen is defaulter of Rs 407 million, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour has to return Rs 4.5 million, and Haroon Ahmad Bilour did not return loan of 22 million rupees.
