Rajeve Gandhi Was Middleman In Arms Deal---- Wikileaks
One point seven million new secret documents relating to American intelligence and foreign office pertaining to 1973 to 1976 have been published on Wikileaks website. Referring to new diplomatic cables of Wikileaks The Indian Daily "The Hindu" revealed that belonging to famous political family the late Indian prime minister Rajeve Gandhi played a middleman role during the 70's decade in arms deal. The Swedish group "Sab Scandia" provided job to Rajeve Gandhi (when he was not prime minister yet) in the company,, to help sell the warship "Vigon" to India. Rajeve was out of politics those days and was working as commercial pilot. The American Embassy in India wrote to Washington in secret diplomatic cable that Rajeve had pivotal role in government dialgoes with "Sab". The reason for getting his services by the Swedish company was that his mother Indra Gandhi was the prime minister of India at that time.
