"Sisters In Islam" Organization Of Malaysia
Zeena Anwar Of Malaysia is among that women folk who faces challenge to those considering women the lower creature. She established an organization " Sisters In Islam" that is working for laws against the exploitation of women folk. She works for women to give them awareness of their rights in the light of Quran Majeed ( The Holy Book).
Fareeda Azizi ( Afghanistan):-
She had been running a human welfare program for 5 years in Afghanistan then due to life threats from Taliban, she left Afghanistan along with her family. She is in the USA now and working for the peace in the world and for the rights of women. she is the founder member of " Cooperation for Peace and Unity".
Mashley Bashelete (Chilli):-
She had experienced tortures, kidnapping, and deportation from the country by by secret agencies , till she reached to the age of 30 years. When she returned home started medicine business. She also carried out work for social justice and political reforms. In 2006 she was elected the first woman President of Chilli. She worked extraordinarily for poor. Now she is the first director of "Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women".
Angard Beta Nickorat (Columbia):-
French Columbian politician Angard remained the prisoner of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia for 6 years. She was released in 2008. She is the former senator, former candidate for presidential seat and now an activist against corruption. She wrote her prison days in the form of a book," The End of Silence".
Mabeel Baincko (Argentine):-
It was in near past that women used to die more in number than men in Argentina. This was only due to lack of basic health facilities. The women cured their diseases by using traditional medicines. Meanwhile, Mabeel who was former Ministr For Health established "Foundation For Studies and Research on Women,". This foundation provides better information to women folk about health. She is also active in Anti-Aids war. Now a days she is struggling for the provision of better health facilities to women in the country.
