MQM Bycotts Sind Assembly Session
A joint meeting of MQM Rabita Committee has decided to boycott the session of Sindh Assembly from today and upcoming sessions of National Assembly and the Senate, Geo News reported.
The meeting of London and Karachi chapters was held to discuss the situation after the speech of Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza.
Mirza, who is also the PPP Sindh vice president, called the PAC members 'our children' and soldiers of the PPP. The home minister announced that all 'fake' cases lodged by the past regimes would be reviewed. He urged mothers and widows to come forward as he promised that the government would provide justice to them over the killing of their sons and husbands. Mirza said the PPP was a party of martyrs, adding: "We are trustees of the party, which belongs to Bilawal Bhutto. We will hand over the PPP to Bilawal in a better shape."
The committee condemned the public support of terrorist group, People's Aman Committee (PAC) and terming it a subsidiary of Pakistan People's Party.
