"Saving Face" Of Sharmeen Obaid Has Been Nominated For Oscar

Saving Face’ a documentary by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has received an Oscar nomination for best documentary, short subject.
The documentary is about a plastic surgeon that treats victims of acid attacks in Pakistan.
Prior to receiving the Oscar nomination, Sharmeen Chinoy had won an International Emmy for her documentary ‘Pakistan’s Taliban Generation’ which focused on Taliban recruits.
