A Person Who Does Not Care For Million Of Dollars

Will any body refuse to receive one million dollar award in this materialistic age? If so he will be taken for a mad man. But Gregory Pireeman, a mathematician of Russia showed madness like this and proved that during current age people like him exist who do not value money. Gregory as such is a special person on the globe who intentionally embraced the poverty hit environment.
Forty-five year old Gregory solved the century old mathematical problem of famous French Mathematician Henry, in 2010 about conjecture. He proved that any hole less shape can be transformed into sphere. American Kalay Mathematics Institute had announced one million dollars award to the mathematician solving the problem. However, Gregory refused to receive award.
He did not tell any reason for the denial of the award, rather he did not meet the journalists. He said that the journalist question on personal life rather than about mathematics. At last during September 2011, he was interviewed by a Russian journalist of scientific magazine he said that for him mathematics was most important. This knowledge has the power that can make the ruler of the world.
This is noteworthy that Gregory is considered in the west, the most intelligent person of the world. He was offered jobs of mathematics professor by world class universities like Stanford, Princeton and Oxford, but he refused the offers. The professors of these universities earn thousand of dollars for an hour lecture, but Gregory accepted the post of researcher in Sanikhov Institute of Saints Berg, where gets a salary that hardly meets his daily food items. People like Gregory are rare in this world, no doubt.
