Abbottabad Commision Has Retrieved 187,000 Documents From OBL Alleged Compound

The Abbottabad Commission has retrieved 187,000 documents from the alleged compound of Osama bin Laden, according to reporters quoting sources from the probe body.
Sources said that a large number of documents had already been taken away by US-led forces that raided the compound in Abbottabad on May 2, 2011.
The Abbottabad Commission is tasked with investigating the unilateral US raid that allegedly killed the world's most wanted man Osama bin Laden, met here under its chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal.
The documents recovered by the Abbottabad Commssion from the compound include bin Laden's diaries, correspondence and other important material in black and white, the sources further said.
Most of the documents among other languages are in Arabic and directives have been issued by the Commission to the concerned authorities for their translation.
The commission will finalise its recommendations after getting data from the documents and eventually the body will hand over its report to the government.
It would be up to the government to decide on making the findings of the report public.
