Thousands Of British Women Are Embracing Islam

Islam is the mostly vastly spreading religion of the world and majority of the people converting to Islam belong to Britain. A review report published in Britain revealed that more than 5 thousand people are embracing Islam in Britain every year. During the last decade the number of people who converted to Islam was twice the number in decade before that. In britain 0.1 million people have converted to Islam by today. Usually the non-muslims having least knowledge of Islam publicize that Islam does not give freedom and rights to women. But, people having such thinking if study the the reports about the people converting to Islam in Europe, they will find eye-opening answers. According to the latest statistics the number of European women embracing Islam is far more than that of men. Rather their number is twice more than men's. Here are some high profile British women who recently converted to Islam. The sister-in-law of former British premier Tony Blaire, Loreen Booth has embraced Islam afew years back. She is ajournalist ans a broadcaster professionally. She offers prayers 5 times a day regularly and wears hijab when goes out of home. She has also worked in Palestine. After visting Iran and the Musoleum of Hazrat Fatima Masoma in Iran she dicided to convert to Islam. Similarly, Comeela Lee Land, a 34 year Yoga teacher a mother of a daughter embraced Islam. She is working for Women Rihts Movement ( Feminism). She says when people will hear from me simultaneously the "Movement for Women Rights" and "Islam" they will be astonished. She said that Islam give equal rights to women ar par with men.The people misunderstand by mixing the local culture with Islam.She said it is right that some Muslim societies do not give individual rights to women, but as far as myself is concerned I was more ruled upon in Western Society.
