A girl committed suicide by jumping from 4th floor of a girls’ hostel near MAO College Lahore.
The girl who jumped from the fourth floor of a private hostel located near MAO College, was rushed to the hospital but she succumbed to her wounds on the way.
According to police, 30-year-old Seemab of Pandori area in Narang Mandi worked for a Lahore based newspaper and had not been paid for last two months. The hostel administration was pressing her to pay the room rent ahead of Eid.
On Wednesday, Seemab jumped from the fourth floor of the girls’ hostel. She was taken to hospital but could not survive.
Seemab was the only financial support for her diseased father and her younger brothers. Police are further investigating the incident.
