As a fist human being to step on moon Neil Armstrong became the hero of millions of people in the world, overnight. But he kept away from fame. Why? Is the story of stepping on moon fake? Why Neil became an Enigma? An author Andrew Smith who wrote book on the lives of astronauts wrote," Neil Armstrong used to say that in the mission of Apollo for landing on moon 0.4 million people worked day and night in different capacities but he said he became famous due to stepping on moon that was not his right." Smith said that Neil did not want to en-cash his fame though other astronauts who accompanied him did so. A company engaged in the work of auctions said that Neil could get one million dollar for his autograph in one evening but he never did so. Who did stop him or he himself avoided fame and money?

One version of the Astonishing events like stepping on moon is that Neil Armstrong was not the first human to step on moon. A larger school of thought narrates several scientific reasons for this "NO". According to them the USA had done all this to maintain its superiority over the world. They say that in the footage of stepping on moon the USA flag is shown as waving, while many researches have revealed that there is no such a fastly blowing air on moon that can wave the flag. Secondly, under the lunar module there seems no landing ditch while a vehicle running on one hundred kilometer speed per hour definitely leaves its signs on the soil and footage does not show any sign of ditch.
The experts working in the field of space science say that all the shades in the footage are not dark enough and it shows that light is shed through contrasting methods. This school of thought say that footage was fake and Neil was not the first man to walk on moon. Therefore, Neil Armstrong tried to remain isolated from the world after the event. They further say that the proof of all this had been given by Neil himself in some of his statements. In the opinion of Armstrong he did not deserve fame and attention. Andrew Smith, an author of a book on the lives of astronauts say that astronauts on return were sent on world tour. Neil though participated in the tour but remained isolated. He narrated facts every where instead of his sentiments. He refused to deliver speech and to give interviews. Gradually, he stopped to give autographs and in the function to allow shot his pictures. During the last 40 years Neil only gave two interviews and he kept away from the people and feared to meet the people. Why?
