A Mysterious Coffin In The Church Of Turin Town Of North Italy
It is a piece of cloth that is kept in the a church in Turin town of Northern Italy. The specificity of the cloth is that it carries a reflection of human being body and it gives an impression as someone has been killed by hanging. The majority of the people think that it is the reflection of Jesus Christ Hazrat Isa Alahe Hissalam so it has gained sacredness and kept in a church. This reflection is like a negative of an original photo shot by camera. Scientists have attempted a lot to know how the reflection was made on the cloth? but in vain. Different theories have been presented but none of them could be confirmed. The replica of the cloth has been tried to make but researchers could not succeed in it.
The age of the cloth has been estimated between 5th to 15th century. But according to religious scholars its age is more than this. another piece of cloth has also sacredness about which it is said that the head of Hazrat Isa AS (Jesus Christ ) was covered after hanging with this piece. This piece of cloth is called "Sodarium". When any connection between the two pieces was searched it was found that the blood spots on both the pieces had the same group i.e.AB. Many questions about the origin of cloth, reflection on them, while camera is the invention of 19th century, the similar blood group on both the pieces? are yet to be answered.
